This is indeed a problem, and though robinson will pay for leading them away from the Truth, yet still each person is responsible to God for himself as well; and that is truly sad.

The main thrust of my ministry is training people (mainly high school and college-bound kids) to think with a Christian worldview. You can't do what you don't know. The problem in the ECUSA is that far too many of the people have not been taught to think Biblically. I used to substitute for the vicar of a small Episcopal Church in New Jersey. I am primarily an expository teacher, and that's how I preach. The people lapped it up - as would thirsty people in need of a drink. And the vicar was fairly conservative. People are responsible to God...but the choices they make are based on what they know...if they have been falsely taight, the decisions will not be right.
