Pay heed to Carlo's healthy tips, fellow freepers. We'll need all hands on deck when Hillary and General Weasel run in the next presidental election. We must be trim, ship-shape, and full of stamina and energy for the upcoming encounter.

Darn, I baked the famous German prune-plum kuchen this week and ate the whole thing myself! With whipped cream, yet! Well, the plums are only available a few weeks out of the year, so I wasn't about to let this window of opportunity go by unnoticed.

Forgive me, Father Carlo, for I have sinned (and enjoyed every minute of it).

I promise to shape up, at least till Christmas season!

GOOD GRIEF! WELL! If that isn't the worse thing I have ever heard! You had better hurry and eat this, as punishment!.. :o).. shame..

LowCarb Almond Mousse Supreme

1) Mix cream with 3/4 c. of water. Place gelatin in the 1/4 c. water, soften and heat until gel is dissolved.
2) Place cream and water in blender then add all the rest of the ingredients and blend at least 5 minutes on the highest setting until like cream.
Divide into 6 serving dishes.

Top with whipped cream and a tsp of fruit or berry on the top is pretty.
3 grams carb per serving

I've been on low carb (not Atkins) for a month and have lost 19 lbs. Was 198, now 179. 1st two weeks was difficult, but very easy and comfotable now with no side effects and energy returning.

They left out the cause of "stress", which is nothing more than the lack of mental capacity to handle the current situation.

I don't think i've ever had a stressful time in my life including when my airplane was about to plow into the ground, I was calm, thinking, and reacting with the best of my training to crash with the least amount of damage.

As for food, I eat anything I like including candy, a quart of ice cream, fatty food, and a gallon of whole milk a day and weigh the same that I did 50 years ago when I graduated from high school.

I lost 21 pounds in the last 2-3 months by just not drinking soda and only eating when I was hungry.

These are life style changes, not diets.

One of the best ways I have to relax outside of participating in many things is to own my pet.

I am a dog person and they have always has a calming effect on me as they tend to be delightful playful furry clowns.

I used to visit a friend in a nursing home and would bring my small dog. About thirty other folks would love to hold and pet my pooch. So one of the most relaxing things in life can be a pet.
