This is really apropos of nothing tonight but too cool not to share:

The one and only Minnie Minoso, the incomparable Rocky Colavito, and the infamous Billy
Martin on the night when Rocky hit 4 consecutive homers in old Baltimore Memorial Stadium.

Anyone see 70-year-old Don Zimmer take a header in the Yankee - Red Sox game?

A 70-year-old man with a steel plate in his head shouldn't come running off the bench and take swings at a baseball player less than half his age.

Even so...it was hilarious.

I would have loved to see Karim Garcia flatten Pedro's face for him.

That is a very cool picture.

Do you know if Minnie Minoso tried to get an AB in 1990? I was thinking I'd heard that he wanted to, but no one took him on it. How many decades did he have an AB in? Something like 5 or 6, right?

Coors? You could do a lot better. "Light" beer? Why bother? Bottles or cans? Bottles are better.

Myself, I'm finishing a bottle of Warsteiner right now.

OMG, I just heard a recap of the Yankees-Red Sox game. Yeah, it would have taken an hour to explain it all. What's going to happen to Pedro, you think?
