Thanks for the post and the ping!
Apologies for promoting anything with XXX42 on it this Saturday. The Weekly Standard crew using the DNC leader to sway our domestic enemies, I assume.
Good comprehensive summary.
Already found elsewhere minus xxx42.
If you want on or off my Pro-Coalition ping list, please Freepmail me. Warning: it is a high volume ping list on good days. (Most days are good days).

Bash Bush, Bash Rush - why do you bother to come here if that is all you want to do? You are so know-it-all, and only you can see throught all of the BS. All of the rest of us are dumb, blind leading the blind Bushbots/Rushbots.

We assemble what we need, when we need. A very 80's concept. The accronym is JIT.
Just in Time. Any production can be done this way. Including WMD.
This is basically the thesis that Kenneth Pollack gives for what Saddam/Iraq was doing
in regards to WMD.
Getting poised to rapidly synthesize the compounds as soon as the world looked away
or as needed.

All of the rest of us are dumb, blind leading the blind Bushbots/Rushbots.So instead of having any real critical discussion of important issues, it is better that everyone just stand around and agree with each other? I'm a conservative and not a republican and that is undoubtedly the problem which I present to so many here. I don't ignore or attempt to cover up failures on the part of the administration or even a Rush. I realize that isn't popular around here -- actually questioning why GW is fear and war mongering even as he does nothing to close our borders, or why he is expanding government and increasing deficit spending while debasing the currency and encouraging massive and irresponsible fiscal imbalances to increase. So I ask tough questions and voice my opinions.

Praise GOD that BUSH has promised FREEDOM's Return to Communist Vietnam, N. Korea and Cuba during a BUSH Presidency as our own best Self-Defense against future Terrorist Attacks.
This week alone we have seen:
1) Communist Vietnam OK a U.S. Navy Vessel to visit Saigon and a head of its Military to visit our Pentagon.
2) Communist Vietnam OK daily U.S. Airliner and Air Freight flights to and from Vietnam.
3) BUSH set up an International Commission in preparation to assist Communist Cuba after FIDEL CASTRO leaves us.
This is all happening before our very eyes and I am so very proud of my Commander-in-Chief in Time of War.

So I ask tough questions and voice my opinions. They are your opinions and you are welcome to them. That is your right, and no one here will deny that. You come across as 'holier than thou' and imply that we are idiots for not agreeing with you. It is your opinion that GW is fear and war mongering even as he does nothing to close our borders,
And what inside line do you have on the actions being considered or taken on the borders? He is not KING, and cannot demand certain things be done instantly. How is he fear and war mongering? By saying "Bring it on?"
I don't see all of us just standing around agreeing with each other.
or why he is expanding government and increasing deficit spending while debasing the currency and encouraging massive and irresponsible fiscal imbalances to increase
I don't like some of his domestic policies, and I am not an economist. How is he debasing the currency? With the deficits - have you forgotten 9/11, and that we are AT WAR?

"Apologies for promoting anything with XXX42 on it this Saturday."
The disgust in seeing his name is overcome by the benefit obtained by using his words to expose the LIES of the dems and media.

That is definitely the "go to" excuse used as a cover for everything from massive debt creation and socialist entitlement programs to the constitutionally trashing Patriot Act.

The funny thing is Bush never said "we have to go to war to find saddam's WMDs"
Also, it was never proposed that the WMDs were the sole reason for the war. The WMD focus has been put out by the press and the leftists as an unmeetable test.
If Saddam had the stuff, you don't think he would give Bush the vindication by leaving it around do you? Saddam followed US politics closely, and knew how to manipulate the media better than almost anyone.
Nobody disputes that he had WMD in the past (ask the residents of Halabja if Saddam had WMD)
Whether he actually had them are not isnt terribly relevant now (unless your motive is to make cheap political shots), but we had every reason to believe he did based on past behavior and current intelligence.

Again, all bash, no facts. The responsibility sits on the heads and at the feet of those who took us to war, not the other way around. GW pushed war with Iraq on the fraudulent claim that Iraq's WMD posed a threat to us. Now, let the war and fear mongers prove it. Show us the WMD and if you can't then explain to the American people why their sons and daughters are being killed.
