"Or perhaps you are wrong on both counts" Maybe I'm just slow this morning, but what is it that I'm "wrong" about?. I'm too busy for a flame war, but I am curious about this rather cryptic comment.

If Rush addresses the allegations, it will probably be near or at the end of the show.
There will not be a question & answer period.

He said the only two places to get prescription drugs was something like the pharmacy and Rush Limbaugh's housekeeper...Wonder if Kerry is on Rush's: "Those to Sue for Libel" list? :) (Not that Rush HAS such a list, mind you)

If I didn't know better, Rush is sending signals like mad to his attackers. I'm listening on the dittocam, and he's playing great music during the breaks. Right now, he's playing The Who's, I can See For Miles and Miles. Great lines in there...

There will not be a question & answer period. Not a surprise. But he doesn't owe that to anyone.
What he does owe to his fans, is a simple denial if he is innocent. Otherwise, it gets fishier each day for them.

Stuck in a cube - what's Rush saying at start of1 oclock hour?
To: William McKinley
but ultimately, he says, he still ached even after a dozen pills a day. At the nadir of his habit, while in London for a command performance for Queen Elizabeth II, he found himself in Soho buying 10 tablets of the stuff for $200 a pop. "I was a doper of the first rate," he says. He describes himself as a doper for taking pills because "he still ached even after a dozen pills a day."
It that an addict or a person who needs the drugs for pain calling himself an addict ?

Talking about Ashley and metro men, Hahahha. I've got a few metro men doing work on my house - not a good thing.

Rush alluded a few minutes ago to the tune-in factor today growing by the minute...don't know if he'll say anything but he must be aware of Drudge's headline and I assume was referring to that when he brought up tune-in factor.

It's not like the Rushophiles are going to question anything he says anyway..
But even an opportunity for clarifications, or even calls of support, simply addressing the issue, etc., would be better than nothing.

It that an addict or a person who needs the drugs for pain calling himself an addict ?I would guess he was being hard on himself for allowing his tolerance to build to such a high level.

Is your point that despite the fact that he considers himself to be an addict, he really wasn't?
If so, I don't really feel the need to argue over it.

How I envy you knowing my HERO. I firmly believe we have Rush to thank for Bill Clinton being toast and for W being President. He has turned this country around, and I hope he knows what he means to us!
