Contacting the Free Republic leadership
Posted on 10/08/2003 10:47:53 PM PDT by StephenDewey
My name is Stephen Dewey, and I am a reporter for the Harvard Political Review. I'm doing an article on online conservative activism, and I'd like to exchange emails or phone calls with somebody from the Free Republic leadership about your organization. If anybody were to point me in the right direction, it would be very much appreciated. My email address is sdewey AT fas.harvard.edu (spelled that way to avoid spam!). Thanks!

Using the word statue and Gray Davis in the same sentence is repetitive.

See post #64. Remember, the Free Republic Network is a (more or less) separate entity from the Free Republic website. The Network has chapters all over the country which participate in political activism ("Freeps")---of which the hardest working IMHO is the D.C. chapter. Kristinn should give you good info on the network.

Using the word statue and Gray Davis in the same sentence is repetitive. ROFL! That's why I couldn't find any! Maybe I should have snuck up behind him when he was in full karate chop mode. BTW, for the first time, he didn't allow the media in his hotel suite while he watched the returns. I guess he wanted full reign to toss ashtrays. He knew he'd lose.

True enough, but I've still got a few nice pumpkins if someone has a trebuchet. I think Squantos is the guy with the trebuchet...

We'll find out all about you during the secret Free Republic initiation ceremony. You do have health insurance, don't you?

And a very telling quote from his article:
"One Times staffer quoted in the May 19th issue of Newsweek described the situation by saying: "We have, generally, a horribly undiverse staff. And so we hold up and promote the few black staffers we have."
BTW, Jay Leno: "Arnold was declared the winner at 8:01. See that, Florida? At least WE can count!"
