UO is very liberal in orientation.

This game insults them but rap songs depicting blacks as gangster's, pimps, drug and alcohol users and violence against women isn't insulting? Go figure!

They need to be protesting the way black entertainers reinforce the exact same stereotypes. It infuriates me when I see how the BET cable channel depicts black people. Why should we be surprised when non-black people follow suit?

Black conservative pingIf you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.
[As i mentioned, the B/C & JD! lists are going to float into and out of whack over the forseeable future, while I try to cobble a rig back together for myself. My apologies for any incovenience or misunderstandings in this time frame. New signups/removals may be flaky in this time-frame as well; please bear with me, and keep in mind you may have to FReepmail me more than once for me to get it done. Thanks again!]

What they fail to mention is that NO ONE has bought the game. Doesn't that count for anything? I listened on the radio one day as they tried to give away the game for free to people, and no one would take it. People were saying, what a stupid game. Liberals are always underestimating people.

I know I'm supposed to get all huffed up in righteous colorblind blame-whitey fury (and yes, I know that's a logical contradiction) but...

I actually find this kind of reassuring. The game producer exercised his right to publish it, the clergymen exercised their right to protest it, the market (i.e. free individuals) exercised their right not buy it. Freedom works.

Maybe that light isn't an oncoming train after all.

It has to suck when a white boy nails the project life so well, and then makes money from the game he invented from observing project life.

Oy vey! Now I'm curious to find the demographics of the buyers.
To: Slings and Arrows

yes... and I take self appointed leaders with a grain of salt. The people who call themselves leaders are anything BUT. In fact, they're small minded rabblerousing useful idiots.
