Boston Red Sox vs New York Yankees - Game One - Live Thread

Okay, I see that the Cubs-Marlins live thread is up but none for the Red Sox-Yankees.
After Game 5 of Boston/Oakland two nights ago, my heart is still recovering. It's a good thing I worked out this past summer or I certainly would have gone into cardiac arrest.
This ought to be one hell of a good series...

There were Freeper reports of F-16s flying over New York City tonight. Turns out they are for the national anthem of this here game.

I guess FOX has regionalized these games.
I'd rather watch the Yankees-Sox, 'cause I prefer the American League, but we're stuck with the Cubs and Marlins here.

"Cowboy Up" is an expression that the Red Sox team started using about a month ago and it has caught on with the press and the fans. Apparently two members of the team are from Texas and "Cowboy Up" is an old rodeo expression that roughly translates to "pick your ass up and get back on that bronco."
