Sorry for the vanity.
Dick Riordan was just interviewed live on Fox Newschannel and told Fox reporter Brian Wilson that Arnold needs to add new taxes to help balance the budget in California. He said Arnold also needs to tax internet sales.

Thank God that Riordan isn't going to part of the Arnold Administration!

Which is why Arnold, and not Riordan, was the candidate and the winner.

I also heard Riordan say last night that Arnold is pro-gun control. Just great...

Thank God that Riordan isn't going to part of the Arnold Administration! Unfortunately he claims he will be.

I hope Riordan will not be a part of the AS team in CA. I don't know how close they still are.
To: A_Niceguy_in_CA
Yes, I saw that. What a RINO!

RIORDAN - thank you for not running, now please just run away

This is nothing new. Arnold has stated his views on gun control over and over. Just go to his website and see for yourself.

There's a reason they call him Dick.

They'll be coming out of the proverbial woodwork to give Arnold advice. Ad nauseum.

Let's sure hope not!
The opportunity that has been given to arnold is a Golden One.
Auditing the books and eliminating duplicate agencies and bloated bureaucracies will help to relieve some of the burdens we face.
But cuts will still need to be made across the board as we can not expect the national leaders to do their part and rein in illegal immigration anytime soon, imo.
To: Hildy
I already know that. I heard Arnold himself tell Hannity that he wanted to "close the gun show loophole" and that he supported the Brady Bill. Of course, there IS no gun show loophole in California. But, he's a Republican, so I guess gun control imposed on us by republicans is better than democrat gun control.

I guess I won't be purchasing anymore clothes online for my wife from companies in California.

Memo to entrenched Republican and Democrat politicians: institutional loyalty by voters is a thing of the past. If you are not on board with their issues then you are out. This is why Riordon lost and Dean is winning.

I saw Arnold answer Peeetah Jennings on the gun control question. His response was that we don't need more laws, we need to enforce the ones we have.

I heard one of Arnold's spokesman say that Riordan will not be part of Arnold's Administration. Arnold is standing by cutting Government and no taxes! I thought Riordan was a jerk during the Republican Convention when he was on and I haven't changed my opinion of him today!
