Let me re-post something I already posted in another thread:
As a Marlins fan, I really do not expect them to win this series anyway. I believe the Cubs will come back and win it. Although I do hope I am wrong. And if I am right, I am glad the Marlins would lose to a Cubs team that has suffered already for 95 years. I rather the Marlins lose to the Cubs than to the freaking Braves and their stinkin tomahawk chop. ;-))

"Do the Cubbies still play

I was thinking after watching the Marlins beat the Giants, I'll bet nobody wants a piece of them right now. They simply refuse to quit. Every time they get a few runs down, they come back. They might ruin the Yanks vs. Sox dream series. I'm surprised they keep pitching to "Pudge", the way he's hitting.

I wanna see a Cubs/Sox series!!! So do I! The city of Chicago would go absolutely crazy with both of their teams in the Series--the two teams in baseball that have gone the longest without winning the championship. Unfortunately, though, the Sox did not make it to the playoffs this year.
Oh, wait. I bet you mean the other Sox, those guys from Boston.
Never mind.
