McClintock Cautiously Optimistic About Chances
After casting his vote this morning in a Thousand Oaks polling place, Republican state Senator Tom McClintock expressed confidence that an upset win would put him in the governor's office.
In recent days, McClintock has repeatedly said his his third place standing in the polls doesn't respresent the true feelings of voters. He believes the people of California will vote their consciences, resulting in a victory for him.
McClintock had a message for those who like his message, but say he can't win and intend to vote for Schwarzenegger instead of him. "Don't vote for someone else's calculations, vote your own convictions," he said.
While disturbed by recent allegations about fellow Republican Schwarzenegger, McClintock also expressed skepticism about the charges because of the timing. Whatever his reservations, however, he said that if the accusations are proven, Schwarzenegger doesn't deserve to be governor.
McClintock has mapped out his first day in office if elected. First, he plans to sign an executive order to repeal the car tax, then take action to rescind expensive energy contracts, and finally call a special session to examine workman's compensation issues.

You're welcome to visit if you're passing through Kentucky. I know how you feel. We're 25 years behind the times and that's why I like it here.
If California is on the cutting edge....[fill in the blank]

I am so glad that I never have to hear this idiot say that he is the ' conscience of the election' any more.

Thanks. We might just drive that way. My wife wants the Northeast and New Hampshire seems pretty inviting right about now, with the Free Staters headed there. Anyway, stay safe and keep your powder dry!

And that had nothing to do with you implying she had no principles the post before that one, did it?
Though Howlin is my friend, my impression of you comes not from "sticking together" with anyone - I've experienced your broadsiding first-hand, and I've seen you insult many people personally. This isn't exactly a surprise.

Darn it! I couldn't fool you, could I? Well, yes, I did write his name in.

but this had to do with Howlin calling me a "pompous A$$". Could you BE anymore disengenuous?
Is this or is this not your first post to me on this thread?
To: Howlin
Yeah. When you don't have any principles, it can make you feel real sick. Hope you fell better soon.

Yeah. When you don't have any principles, it can make you feel real sick. Hope you fell better soon. If you repeat it enough, some of it might sink in. But with experience, I'd advise you not to waste your time.
To: Howlin
Oh the truth can hurt, can't it? Good job.
To: Southflanknorthpawsis
It wasn't a job; he said I don't have any principles; that's pretty hard to forget, unless it's from Fred.

Fred Mertz,
You get your little rear end back over here where you belong. Stop hanging out and trying to act like a freeper.
You know where you belong. Now get yourself home right now.
Love,
Your LP family

I stated my opinion. I didn't engage in namecalling. Howlin did. You have a problem with that, too bad.
>>>... I've experienced your broadsiding first-hand, and I've seen you insult many people personally. This isn't exactly a surprise.
That's right, dredge up the past. I used some inappropriate humor one night and Emailed you an apology. That's more then I can say for this continued bad behavior from Arnie's Androids. Like I said, the election is over, its time to come together and move on. If you want to continue this fight, take it somewhere else.
