POSSIBLE CA EXIT POLLS--LEAKED DATA

Apparently Leaked Exit Polling Says... Armed Prophet here, with what I believe is a major scoop, though it may not be entirely surprising.
That is, I'm hearing that early exit polling -- which includes absentees -- already shows the recall and Arnold both with "double digit" leads. (I'm a bit surprised to hear that those numbers are already being tabulated, but this is what I'm told.) Speculation is the race may be called within a few hours of the polls closing.
I obviously can't vouch for it myself -- I'm in DC -- but the source I'm hearing this from is very well-connected in state and national politics; if anybody would know this kind of thing out here, it's this person. So take this information with a bit of caution. But if I'm right, you heard it here first.

Don't know what to say, except that this is interesting--and wonderful--if correct.

This was just posted in the live thread
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/996586/posts?page=1024#1024 Just got this from a friend with a DC office:
Our DC office just heard these exit polls. Dem politicos are reporting a low voter turn out in the Bay Area so they are thinking its gonna be a blow out.
Davis' exit polls show:
57% yes on recall
43% no on recall
47% Arnold
34% Bustamonte
Take this for what it's worth, but sounds in line with the polling of late.

Speculation is the race may be called within a few hours of the polls closing.Except that the first dozen court filings to enjoin the announcement will be filed about 20 deconds after the polls close.

Did you say a senior administration official "leaked" this?
To: John Jorsett
If its a GOP blowout, the Dems won't bother.

I think it is best for us to not post exit polling data that we cannot confirm as breaking news. Anyone could make anything up at this point. Just ask Coop.
Thanks, AM

About an hour ago, I called a business in Westlake Village, CA and asked the guy if he had voted yet.
He said, "Not yet, but all the radio stations are saying that turnout is very light".
Yeah, sure...

These exact numbers were reported on KFI AM within the last hour.
If you'd like to here the local SoCal take on the Recall, go here. Bill Handel from now till 4PM then Jon and Ken till 11PM PST. They are reporting exit poll data.

San Francisco is a Democrat vote gusher. And if they're staying home in droves there, Arnold should easily pass 50% tonight once L.A reports in. That's before the absentee votes are counted. The fat lady has sung. I believe these exit polls. The numbers sound right.

Sure they will.
They'll say the 43% who voted against the recall were disenfranchised by the 57% who voted for it.

Makes no difference. No one likes Gray Davis. I have yet to meet a Democrat who would put his skin on the line for him - I don't mean the brainless elites, I mean the party's rank and file. It looks like they just want him gone.
