CNN just did an analysis of the Hispanic vote.

Just under 50% opposed the Driver License bill. hmmmm

Just over 50% voted for Bustemante. Nearly 31% voted for Arnold.

The Hispanic vote does not seem to be a solid block vote.

Maybe Hispanics aren't the STUPID CATTLE that the Dems think they are or ought to be. Maybe, just maybe, they have (gasp) minds of their own and interests that don't necessarily coincide with those of the ultra-leftists.

The Hispanic voters did what *they* thought was best. Good for them.

So maybe the "Rove plan" for courting Latino vote is not such a dumb thing, yes? (Not saying that is my position, but it seems like this is a block that can help us pubbies.)
