It's the first game. Hopefully, plenty of excitement in the days to come.

Arnie will be on in a few minutes to give his speech.
Wouldn't it be something if he had McClintock on the stage with him? It would blow the Dems away!

You don't mind politicians speaking Spanish on ads? Don't you think it's just canned and practiced and a sound bite? I think it's okay to play the ad in Spanish, but when the candidate speaks, unless they are fluent (Bush is close), I think it should just be captioned.
But that's the opinion of a pasty white guy! LOL

Ya know, I just had this tantalizing vision that Gray Davis, who they say is about to give a magnanimous concesion speech, takes a cue from that Bud commercial based in the losing locker room(the "There's no 'I' in team.""There's no 'we', either" one.) In a cool tone, starts to rip on everyone else, and busts out into profanity, telling Californians to "ef off".
Now THAT would be funny...

I think Arnold still would have won. It may have been tighter, but the anger level is so high even Bubba couldn't pull this off.

"Most Mexican that I have known are rather conservative, at least those that have been here for a couple of centuries."
I know a number of Hispanic-Americans...all ages, and I would agree. Those that have come here in the past generation or two came to the US to get the
&$@# out of the corrupt & restrictive class society in Mexico & elsewhere in Latin America. They like the opportunites, the chance for upward mobility, and those I know have nothing but contempt for this BS "Reborn Aztec Nation" idea tossed around by certain college students.
Glad to see this election blew that "Hispanic Voting Bloc" idea out of the water

People like Arianna, Bob Mullholand and Gloria Allred simply won't recognize reality, and will lie and obfuscate to the end.

Please... one of you have mercy on me. My daughter fell this evening and we spent the last several hours in the ER having her checked and then her one bad cut getting stitched up :-( She'll be okay and is now coddled on the couch happy as can be and I'm counting my blessings... but if anyone has the slightest bit of humanity they will tell me what has been happening with the recall...
Help!!!
