"I was in costume, hadn't shaved for a week, and Arnold apparently mistook me for Ape-woman, and grabbed my tush. I liked it though, so it was ok..." - Jesse Ventura, describing his experiences co-starring with Arnold.

Chris asked why Jesse hated Arnold, and he said he didn't. He said Arnold was a puppet of the republicans. Just sounded bitter. nothing positive to say about arnold, and the only thing negative was that he was owned by the republicans

Thanks. I see that the totals have adjusted radically with the latest update.

Demorats always turn to the least democratic branch of government to implement their will.

They are "projecting" Arnold here in NY as the winner.
To all California Freepers:
GOOD ON YA!!!
You saw the problem, and you tried your best to fix it.
Let's hope you're a harbinger for the rest of the nation.

Barf Alert -- Janet Clayton of the LA Times Editorial Board says it's "misdirected anger."
My ballot didn't have an option to recall the L.A. Times.

Finally, voters get it...Luntz's silly focus group on BSNBC has people saying "it's about time people stood up and said no". Corruption, buying votes, paying of gov't union employees with ridiculous contracts, taxing everything that moves, driving up the cost of doing business to the point even liberal morons in Hollywood film in Toronto, and on and on.
And they have the audacity to blame this on Bush? That's pitiful. If that's the best they've got, 2004 is going to wipe out the Dems.

People outside of Michigan (a.k.a. "foreigners") may not be aware that the Yugo is the only car to ever be blown off the Mackinac Bridge connecting Michigan's Upper and Lower Peninsulas. A strong gust caught one and lifted it over the railing, where it dropped more than a hundred feet to the Straits water below. Unfortunately the young woman driving it died. Quick, someone cue up Paul Shanklin's parody song, "In a Yugo" (done in the style/music of Elvis's "In the Ghetto"). Rush Limbaugh plays it a lot.

Has Peter Jennings mentioned that the CA voters "threw a temper tantrum" yet??

And West Palm Beach in 2000 was also controlled by Democrats, a point that the media seemed to miss.
True, but enough maneuvering on the part of two or three countys in Florida could have reversed the result of the election. That simply isn't the case here. Davis is toast, and Arnold is the clear front runner to replace him.

The standard line now is that 'voters will also throw Bush out next year'

Gag! Susan (lack of) Estrogen is on FOX... what a yahoo. She's usually better than this. Her point about giving Arnie a chance though makes sense.

You are right,,these dems have gone over that edge we all worry about. they are in the twinkie zone right now.

That's next! :) I really wish we could get another paper to compete in this town.
To: CWW
Yeah, and she helped misdirect it.
Go ahead and keep thinking the voters are as stupid as you are, toots. They saw through your rag's transparent smear campaign. Your piece of crap isn't fit for a bird to dump on. The voters were already angry with Davis; you just made them angrier at him and angry at you too. Dolt!
