I believe CA has a property tax on cars. I read that families with 2 or more cars (it's CA - more cars than people) could see a bill in the $2500 range.
What makes Davis such a true bonehead, the tax bills are sent out in October. So a lot of those voters going to the polls just got their car assesment bills.

Or that's been their SOP I was aware of. Just where is it SOP to not count absentee ballots unless it's "close?"
I'd be curious.

Ahh damn it, even after we throw him out, we gotta pay for it.. The trash pick up, the hazmat fees at the landfill from all his tofu, not to mention the enviromental impact report of putting a politician within twelve miles of a disposal area. I wonder if I can go back and change my vote?

I blame McClintock. Not sure for what, exactly, but I blame him anyway... ;0)
Well, since I'm a TomBot, I've been concealing the fact that McClintock had a direct hand in undermining Winchell's doughnuts. Too late for that smear to hurt him now.

Great.
Schwarzenegger broke the 50% watermark.
If that's not a mandate, I don't know what to call it

Arnold and Tom have 63% of the vote between them. Talk about a GOP TSUNAMI!!!

You all of these references to "damn the principles" are really presumptious.
The flaw in your argument is that someone who votes for Arnold is going against YOUR principles, not theirs. Obviously, conservatives who support Arnold see it as a principled act to vote for the candidate who will actually stand a chance to win the election so that he will be in a position to push liberalism back, if only a little.
By voting Arnold, those people are standing by THEIR principles, and frankly, YOUR principles are and should be meaningless to them.

I guess if it figures that the Cubs are winning, then Arnold must surely be winning.

Fraud can only take the Dems so far, usually 3 or 4 points. I keep wondering when we'll finally inch over the line. Could this be the election where passions are so high that people turn out to the point that some precincts have over 100% turnout due to fraudulent votes because the Democrats didn't figure on legitimate turnout in those precints to be so high?

Wow. If it's 59% recall, 51% Arnold, and 13% McClintock, that's almost 65% GOP ... in California. Holy cow.
GOP, get out the vote, don't be holding back now ... go for MORE!

It's a hilarious combo of depression and denial! Ill say it is!
I see this election going poorly and I am mad as hell. I am sick and tired of the crybaby, fixed machine, cutesy name calling hatred that seems to be driving our party right out of the system and into the fringe. We are a viable party with good issues and respectable candidates, but all the public gets to see are the fools and the extremes. I am pissed at the face that has been put on the Dem party.

Heh heh heh... I was also a TomBot until I heard about the Winchells thing - shocking...

Arnold and Tom have 63% of the vote between them. Talk about a GOP TSUNAMI!!!If that result holds, all of McClintock's so-called 'vote theft' will be forgotten. Look out Senator Di-Fi, hell's a poppin'.
