Just wondering if anyone has heard how this bunch did yesterday without Rush. I personally will never watch them again! The comments made against Rush on Sunday and the lame excuses for why no one on the panel spoke out against Rush's opinion to his face were pathetic! I have to wonder if there had been no fuss over this if anything would have been said by this bunch of cowards!

They will have been high last night, because people wanted to see what they would say. Wait till next week.

I never watched them before, and only caught Rush once as I normally am on the links while they are on air.

The FOX comments at the end of the Philadelphia/Washington game were some of the worst of the day.
They were speaking of how McNabb's performance (1 TD 2 INT) vindicated him. How Rush was trying to take us back to caveman days...

Yeah, I heard Chris Collinsworth say that, but no one else in the booth said anything in agreement to that.
Collinsworth is an idiot, I could never stand him when he was on the Sunday FOX pregame show...

Tom Jackson made a remark about how he had never looked at McNabb as a black quarterback -- just a "quarterback".
Well, I never looked at Tom Jackson as a black reporter... and I still don't.
Now, I just know he's a "p*ssy"!!!

Tom Jackson made a remark about how he had never looked at McNabb as a black quarterback -- just a "quarterback". Actually, Chris Berman made the comment. However, Jackson and the others did agree with him...

I have 3 questions. 1. How is it that Rush is called on the carpet for what he says, yet on Real Sports with Bryant Gumble, he ALWAYS injects race in at least one story, and he never gets called for it?
2. Was it me or did it seem that Chris Berman was adressing his comments to Jackson personaly? As though he was the object of Rush's comments. To a lesser extent, Young and Irvin did the same.
3. What was Donovan McNabb's RUSHing totals against the Redskins?
I don't want to hear anymore mention of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in baseball because of the racial content. End ALL mention of race in sports. Period.
WIn-loss-tie records is what matters.

I'll never understand why they replaced Ronnie Lott, one of the toughest coolest NFLers ever (I still like to use Ronnie's phrase "woo hit") with a mediocre uninteresting kinda ugly wide receiver. The only good part about having Collinsworth on the show was the way Howie mercilessly abused him.

I only watch ESPN for soccer and billiards. And Rush probably knows even less about them than he does about racial diplomacy.

All I know is, during SportsCenter last night, the white anchor dude said something preachy like 'Now that Donovan McNabb was no longer black, but green, he could be judged for the quality of his play, and NOT the color of his skin...'
Made me want to kick in the TV screen. I was only watching it because they're covering MLB baseball.

You forgot Dusty Baker saying the Cubs had too many white players to win day games.
To: 4everontheRight
Rush should have waited awhile for a better opening in the conversation and worked in the $5000,000 fine the Detroit Lions had to pay because Steve Marriuchi isn't black.
THAT would have been a better way to attack the NFL's racism.

Because that's what is discussed on the Real Sports show. NFL pregame shows are about discussing the game and a little ribbing back and forth about who is going to win.
Rush can bring up his black QB conspiracy theories all he wants on his own show, and probably could on Real Sports if invited on.

Wasn't that McNabb's first TD pass of the season?
