Yes, shredders are a big seller to the left.If they weren't so wacko about the environment they could just burn the evidence and put the money in the offshore accounts with the rest of what they've stolen from the taxpayers.

The West Coast lemmings would listen to Clinton, but Schwarzenegger is a bigger celebrity out there than the Clintons are. Celebrity trumps everything in liberal CA. And a liberal celebrity is all the stronger.

One good point in all of this is that its not ONLY Davis doing this- its the democratic party member Gray Davis doing this.

watch the behavior of the GOP and DNC heads on TV..I just saw that scumbag Mulholland or whatever told the GOP head to "SHUT UP, SHUT UP" - a real angry man...oh, boy - if this is not a sign of troubles to come, why the anger?? This man is about to lose his job, And, with luck, his freedom. Hope he looks good in an orange jumpsuit...

Isn't this willful destruction of government property?

I suspect that if Davis shreds 99.9% of the evidence, he will only be getting a life sentence...I'm sure his HUGE campaign contributors - the Prison Guards Union - will insure he is *quite* comfortable for the duration.
They did get major pay and benefit enhancements from the Davis adminstration, after all...

The court issued restraining orders against Clinton's group destroying documents. They went right ahead and did it - I believe with no negative consequences. Lawlessness = loss of liberty.

If I remember correctly, it's called the "Slash-And-Burn" retreat.Sadly enough it's the "politically correct" thing to do in the minds of the followers of the left.
I wish Schwarzenegger would seek a court order to prevent shredding. State troopers should be placed in the capital to prevent it. If Davis is culpable in crime, he should go down for it.
Sadly enough it's the "politically incorrect" thing to do in the minds of the "left biased" media!

More crimes by the Clinton clone. More reason to dump Davis. My God, how did this man get elected? Can you say, FRAUD, which is also a very good possibility for Tuesday.

He should be shredding, 'cause he sold this state down the river to anyone with a campaign contribution. It would be nice to see Gray go to jail and meet Bubba and get done to him what he's been doing to us for the last 5 years.

My husband and I laughed tonight while watching Fox News and they had a clip of Gray Davis saying how Arnold could never be Governor of California because Arnold, while a young, single guy groped a few bimbos. What really made us laugh was that there was Jesse Jackson, standing right behind Gray Davis looking very serious - I'm sure you all remember Reverend Jesse Jackson - the old married man who produced a child with his young mistress. All they need is Bill Clinton, looking very serious, standing behind Gray Davis while Davis says the same thing about Arnold. They truly insult our intelligence.

There's a presumption in federal tax law that evidence that it is in the power of a party to furnish, and that he does not furnish, is not in his favor. (The leading case is Wichita Terminal.) I wonder if destroying evidence here would create a similar presumption.
To: Timesink
I'm amazed it isn't already happening. The Davis administration is still behaving as though it can pull a victory in the recall out of a hat. They're behaving like Hitler and his people in the Bunker.
To: FRgal4u
Art Torres was also very rude on Wolf Blitzer's show today. He kept interrupting and speaking over David Dreier. I think they know they're going down.

Gee, isn't that what -- THE NAZIS -- did? AND, the Clintons...
Like my tag, LOL, aren't you repeating yourself? Nazis? Clintons?

Gee, isn't that what -- THE NAZIS -- did? The Nazis did try to destroy incriminating evidence, but there was plenty left to convict those of them that the Allies chose to go after. (The Cold War was quickly starting at the end of WWII, and so we quickly chose not to pursue a lot of matters, but not because of lack of evidence.)
I suspect the same will be true of the Davis administration. In this age of computers, it's a lot harder to destroy evidence than it was for the Nazis.
