LINCOLN, Nebraska (AP) -- There was no chance of students getting drunk by bellying up to a bar on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus.
The bar was serving bottled oxygen, not booze.
"I'm not wasted," UNL student Tim Randall, 23, said after inhaling 97-percent pure oxygen for about five minutes. "I'm more relaxed."

What about the rest of us who have to put up with all of that second hand oxygen and all those noxious fumes from the "scents"?
When are we going to get what's due us.
It seems like I can't go anywhere today without breathing second hand oxygen and now this place is selling the supercharged version; my sinuses will be plugged up for decades.

I have a friend who served in Vietnam, Air Force tech. He said that after a night of drinking there was nothing better to get rid of a hangover than to climb into a cockpit and turn on the oxygen mask.
He's a big talker, so I'm skeptical.
Anyone here ever used oxygen for that purpose? Does it work?

I'd like to start a nitrous oxide bar. That ought to really draw crouds from the college communities.

We're all gonna...you know :-)
Why do I get the feeling that the 3% that isn't pure oxygen has some, shall we say, controlled subtances in it?

there was nothing better to get rid of a hangover than to climb into a cockpit and turn on the oxygen mask. Your buddy is right. I handled liquid oxyegen in the USAF. I saw the restorative effects on coworkers a number of times.
My only comment otherwise. Think Apollo 1.

Maybe they should serve green tea, Omega 3 and the like to counter the effects of this latest fade..
