ACLU, Hanging by a chad.

There are plenty of voters out there who are that stupid and do vote. Originally, there were some qualifications to try to eliminate them - property, reading skills, knowledge of the language and the Constitution, etc. No longer. Even registering is proving too difficult.
Have we gone too far? I don't know. I like aristrocracy. I like elitism. But they didn't govern very well either.

While you're at it, if you do happen to have a pipe cleaner for a brainstem, maybe you ought to practice getting in and out of the shower, before you go to the polling place, because you certainly don't want to put yourself in harm's way entering and exiting the steel vault that is the voting booth.
LMAO

Beware of that condescension and remember that liberals always feel your pain, unless, of course, they caused it. Heard this last night. Great stuff. This last line is a keeper.

...remember that liberals always feel your pain, unless, of course, they caused it!ROFLMAO! Miller is hilarious. Great post. Thanks!
Oh and BTW, if the idiots in California had to vote using my ballot that wouldn't stand a chance. I vote by mail and my ballot is actually separate from the instructions so there are no arrows to follow. Additionally, I don't get a stylus with which to bunch the ballot and there isn't even a backing anymore so you must literally tear the chad off. Oh, and the print is about a number 6 font! I agree with Miller - if you can't figure out the ballot, you don't deserve to vote.

What a novel concept. If you don't understand the issues or the candidates on the ballot, or how to mark it, stay home and don't vote.
There goes practically the entire voter base in most of the "majority Democrat" precincts in "blue America".
Except for the graveyards. Those votes are done in the back room in the election clerk's office anyway.

I've been saying this for years, and here Miller stole my material. Now when I say it, everyone will think I got it from Dennis. This is sooooo unfair. Where's the ACLU's phone number ...

It's funny, 10 or so years ago, when I first saw his stand-up show called "Black and White" (which is hilarious) I remember thinking "Wow, it kind of sounds like this guy isn't a liberal." Which I found pretty out-of-place for a comedian.
And after 9-11, the guy has just slipped farther and farther right - culminating in his latest HBO/DVD release "The Raw Feed" which I watched yesterday and let me tell you: it's basically an overt, 1 hour slam on liberals.
I was really surprised that HBO even made it. It's 60 minutes of verbally abusing liberals and liberal causes.
There are a couple really lewd lines in it but, if that doesn't bother you, I heartily suggest "The Raw Feed" to any FReeper that enjoys stand-up. (Although, he does take a pot-shot at unrestrained pro-2nd Amendment attitudes.)

Miller has a host of writers, you love the delivery. It is show buisness, all one big production. Miller has found a way to make a buck with the neo-conservatives. I would wonder how liberal his social values really are and if he is another RINO. He had a failed movie and TV career but now has found a corner to stand in.
I do not dislike this guy but I can see what the real deal is here.
SHOE BUISNESS.

This doesn't sound at all like the Dennis Miller that was doing tv shows three or four years ago. Possible explanantions:
1) He's been mugged.
2) He's channeling Rush Limbaugh.
3) He finally found out how much he is paying in taxes and where a lot of that money is going.
4) He was kidnapped by evil Bushbots and the guy you see now is an imposter.
5) He figures that if Bill O'Reilly can be an overnight sensation, heck, anybody could do this.
6) He's never forgiven ABC for replacing him with a guy whose most eloquent lines are "BOOM" and "WHAP".
I'm just trying to figure out if Dennis is a future David Horowitz or a future Bob Dylan.

I had the idea years ago of a short IQ test first in the ballot box, and if you don't pass it, you don't get a shot at the ballot.

I think for the most part, if you're that big a moron, you tend to stay home on election day and TiVo the "Quick Draw McGraw" marathon on the Cartoon Channel because Baba Looie sounds just like the voice in your head.Baba Looie was long the voice of reason, and the acknowledged mastermind behind Quick Draw McGraw's successful law enforcement career. Anyone who can operate TiVo and has Baba Looie as Inner Voice will obviously function well in a voting booth, providing that vital limbs are kept well clear of the chadal backspray.
Is Mr. Miller claiming that Baba Looie was overrated as a sidekick, because Cartoon Network executives don't want to offend Hispanics? Not only am I shocked and appalled, but I am outta here.
