There are plenty of voters out there who are that stupid and do vote. Originally, there were some qualifications to try to eliminate them - property, reading skills, knowledge of the language and the Constitution, etc. No longer. Even registering is proving too difficult.
Have we gone too far? I don't know. I like aristrocracy. I like elitism. But they didn't govern very well either.

Well .. how stupid do you have to be when you get a phone call and are told you voted for Buchanan instead of Gore.
Since ballots don't have names on them .. that is a totally incorrect statement. There is no way in hell ANYBODY can know who you voted for .. that's why it's called a SECRET BALLOT.
