This is what's about to happen. We are on the verge of electing a new governor inspite of a relentless, all out assult, media smear campaign against the front running Republican candidate, that appears to be falling on deaf ears.

It couldn't possibly be that people are fed up with career politicians that practice the politics of personal destruction, assisted by a biased liberal media, that will do anything and everything to hold on to power.

The media ought to take notice of the effect that their unashamedly open, biased, left wing socialist agenda is being derailed before their very eyes. They won't of course. This is why they should be run out of town.

Does this guy even know Arnold has a degree in economics/business from the University of Wisconsin? Or invested his winnings from the Mr. Universe? contest in a roofing company that he and a friend started (and did the actual climbing up on a roof part), became a millionaire in his twenties? If this is zero real world awareness, bring it on.

Of course he doesn't know and for the average Comical reader it doesn't matter.

Want to know why this is? 1)Democans and republicrats are one in the same. 2)Republicans, like Demonrats promise the world but deliver nothing. 3)Spend just as much as their liberal counterparts. 4) Have no backbone when it comes to standing up to demonrats i.e. Miguel Estrada mess. Why would ANYONE state they are a conservative when none exist? Republicans like Democrats talk a big game but never deliver, NEVER. All politicians are windpipes. Over the months I have changed myself over to an independent, not following really any particular political persuassion becuase they all stink. Demonrats worse than Republicans. We all talk change and none ever comes about. the day a Republican says they are not for big government and it actuall comes to fruitition is the day I follow that party. Both are pork spenders and noone can offer up proof otherwise.

Funny, but if one described a certain ethnic minority as "inarticulate" for having a thick accent (e.g. Shiela Jackson Lee), one would be pilloried.

I'm not Latin but I spent 3 years in Spain. The phrases are hard to adapt to what passes as Spanish around here. It's sort of like Welsh compared to English. The dialects are so different.

I caught a news clip the other day...Arnie was asked a question by a foreign news reporter in German....wow...did Arnie lay into him.........looks like Arnie supports English Immersion style education.

This article is illogical....plain and simple. Arnold on his worst day, would do 1000 times better job than Davis, who is not only trying to destroy California, but is actually as close as you can possibly get to succeeding. Granted, It's not all Davis' fault, he had help from the liberal state legislature, but if he isn't damn near the most corrupt piece of incompetent slime ball filth there ever was, he's a close second to Clinton.

Naww..this editorial HAD to have been written by a completely clueless leftist, or someone who really ignores reality in a bad way and just doesn't get it (same thing really). Davis just turned a 10 billion dollar surplus into a 38 billion dollar deficit, drove millions of jobs from the state due to oppressive taxes and regulation, signed Californians to the highest energy costs in the nation (all to line his pockets with kickback money from companies like Enron), tripled the car tax (driving millions more jobs from the state) and just gave drivers licenses to illegals who now can preside in juries over legal citizens, and vote for DemonCraps.

And you think Arnold’s going to be worse than this? What brand of rope are you smoking?

Personally, I’m voting for McClintock because I think he’s the ideal candidate for the job, but also because I think Arnold’s got the votes he needs to win anyway….allowing me the luxury to vote on principal and on the slim possibility that McClintock might just pull it off . And if Arnold gets it, I’ll still be celebrating. I might not have to move then. If Davis or Bustamante hold on to their reign of terror, we might as well hand the state back to Mexico, and declare it lost territory where it will be beyond the help of even the terminator. Instead we’ll have erect a barbed wire fence around the whole shebang and send in guys like Snake Pliskin…if we want anything done…
