Prayer Request from Air Force commander in Aghanistan:

I just received this request for prayer in an email from a lady in my own (Texokie's) church. I have not verified the source other than the fact it comes from someone I know. Because the request is purpoted to come from an officer in Afghanistan requesting the kind of support we have pledged here to give, I am bringing it to you.

FATHER,
God bless and protect our soldiers, marines, and airmen in Afghanistan! Father in heaven, take command of the situation for which Tony Mitchell has requested spiritual support! Father, grant immediate intercession into this theater of war. Protect our military and allies. Protect the leaders. Protect those who are gathering intelligence. Protect the sources of that intelligence. Father, help our troops find and deal with those who are the enemy. Help our troops there be safe and bring them home victorious!

Needed Prayer

At 10 am this morning I received a prayer request from our church. Cathy
Mitchell, who attends Spring Hills, called in to our secretary. Her
husband,Tony, is an Air Force Commander in Afghanistan. She received an urgent emailfrom him this morning. It said, "We need Christians to pray, pray, pray." Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders.

Pass this on to as many as you think will respond.
"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect
us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform
for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and
Savior."

When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our
ground, air and navy personnel in every area of the middle east. There
is nothing attached.... This can be very powerful.... Just send this to all
the people in your address book.
