I think that is a rather profound statement, tiki. I think we truly are in a battle of Good vs Evil at this time. Not every person in the ME is evil, but there are certainly forces of Evil who have made the Middle East their headquarters!

I think you have been granted a glimpse of the true configuration of the battle field, and the Prayer Warriors here at FreeRepublic and all across the land in their places of worship are integral to the success of the final outcome. I thank you for sharing that glimpse with us and for encouraging all of us to renew our efforts.

That reminds me I have been very lax in reporting on my prayer request submittals.

Freeper bkwells and the entire Tarawa crew are home and in San Diego now and Freeper DesertDog aka Karl son of freeper beallyoucanbe is home now also.

And of course Radix's son is home now too as you already knew but he was on my list also. Some of them I have no idea about but trust they are in good care.

Thank you all for all your prayers, may they continue to stay safe even as they are home now.

My cousin, Steve Jr. has come home to stay.

I asked him what he thought of the effort
in Iraq after coming home after 9 months
overseas.

He said, we've done the right thing.
The people of Iraq loved the soldiers
and cheered whereever they went.

Yes, there were the few loose cannons on
the Iraqi side, but he didn't see this as
the majority view.

Beloved Heavenly Father,

We have been gathering together over the last several months and pleading you for Guidance, Direction, and Vision for our nation and our Leaders. Father, we thank you for hearing us and answering us so very clearly. Thank you for overshadowing our President and granting him this all-encompassing Vision of how Freedom, of which you are the author, can and will change the world.

Father, we are grateful for this statement and this document. We are grateful that you have placed on our President's heart the profound courage to raise that Standard of Individual Liberty before the hungry, thirsty, and oppressed peoples of the world. Father, we adopt this Vision as our own, and we pledge to support this Vision with whatever efforts you may be pleased to assign us individually in order to bring this Vision into worldwide Reality.

We are mindful that powers of darkness are directly challenged by this line drawn in the sand, and are thrashing about like a dragon who has been pierced with a lance. Father, we ask that you will bind that thrashing dragon and chop off its tail so that its death throes cannot harm your own precious children. Above all, we ask that you will protect our President, who is the Standard Bearer for this policy and Vision at this time. Protect his physical body, his mind, his emotions, and his entire spiritual being. We ask that you will surround this man with your angels. We continue to ask that you will grant him an extraordinary ability to hear your Word and guidance whenever he bows his head in prayer. Bless and protect his entire family and all who surround him. Help him to bear all the burdens upon him as our President. We ask that a portion of our prayers may be woven for him into one of our special prayer blankets, for use at all times, but especially during times of stress and intense testing.

We thank you Father, for hearing our prayers and granting us a leader who is willing to state so succinctly the Vision which we have been praying for.

Multiply and make our prayers perfect according to thy Holy Will, blessed Father.
