Tom, Cruz, and Greenie didn't need a primary. Only Arnold needs a primary.
The lack of logic hurts my brain. But then again, I am as dumb as dirt.

And that's why you'd vote for a Republican Bill Clinton. Maybe you'll like his groping ways better for state government policy.

A person loses an election because he/she can not muster enough voter support. If Bustamante gets more votes than Schwarzenegger, it is nobody's fault but Schwarzenegger's. (Of course, Bustamante is in the process of an implosion, so there is no real possibilty Busty will win. It's a two-way race now - Schwarzenegger and McClintock.)

What a pathetic story!
"Hey, who says McClintock can't win! Just do the numbers -- if only his opponent would drop out of the race, he'd be SURE to win."
Well, duh. Not much of an argument, if you ask me.

Imagine if you were Tom McClintock and you had sacrificed your life to serve the people of California for over twenty years and then the CA Republican Party spits in your face and supports a guy who has never even won a primary!! It's a wonder McClintock is still out there kicking. That's precisely the problem. McClintock cannot get over himself. To paraphrase bill clinton, "this is w-a-a-aay bigger than Tom McClintock."
That, post-911, McClintock cannot understand the national--indeed, the global-- implications of this race--or chooses not to--demonstrates his unfitness for the job.
Sadly for the nation, the McClintockians (and, reactively, the Arnoldites) are allowing the clintons and the dems, generally, to play them like fiddles. We really must try to see beyond our own provincial ideology and see the big picture. If we do that, our individual goals will fall into place...

No I am not jesting. I am only pointing out that you suggested Busto as gov, over Arnold. It is not professional to imply as you did that Tom supports this view.
This comes from an out of state supporter for McClintock.

So you want a different (and bigger) pile of dog-doo in Sack-a-mentals instead of actually CLEANING UP the mess created by liberals and RINOs, and you're willing to give SchwartzenKennedy a pass on all his liberal issues, just because he "can win." What does it profit you if, in "winning," you lose (or give away) the "soul" of the state? Just what exactly do you "win" besides a Liberal Democrat who has an (R) after his name????? And just HOW does this improve the lot of California?
I do not want to see Bustamover take over... no one in their right mind would... BUT it would be better to see him in office and have a UNITED Pubbie front in OPPOSITION to him than to have the wolf in Pubbie clothing able to run over the top of ALL of us by giving the more liberal pubbies an excuse to move farther to the left... which is ALL that electing RINOld will do. It will NOT solve the fiscal crisis we face and will, in fact, make things WORSE as his liberal agenda gets passed by the legislature and SIGNED by him... is this what you REALLY want to see? If so, have at it and I'll be waving from afar REAL soon!

You can just bet the ranch I am a ONE ISSUE voter: The Constitution for the United States and its attendant FREEDOM. Something you, in your zeal to win at all costs, don't seem to factor into the equation... NO ONE who takes positions contrary to the limitations on GOVERNMENT as defined in the Constitution is worthy of my vote. My vote is only for sale to the one who can demonstrate his or her committment to the principles on which this once-great nation was founded. That person is NOT RINOld.

The only difference I see, as a former Californio, is the wide difference betweeen the poll numbers. I am personally sorry to say that McC has no chance and will be forever known as a spoiler if Ahnold does not beat Bustamante. The reality is in the numbers, and not in the "R" men involved. I also think Ahnold is not an experienced or a moral man, but he has the following.

I met the author of this article and his wife yesterday at the Walk for Tom in Fresno. They came to walk precincts and we decided to distribute this piece along with the flyer from McClintock's campaign.
It's a shame pro Arnold fans are so enamored with the big star, they can't see what a fine governor McClintock would make. Go figure.

You miss my point entirely. Suggestion: Less emphasis on the scatologic, more on plain logic, might help.
To paraphrase clinton, this race is about "w-a-a-aay more than" California. If the clintons -- heaven help us -- retake the White House, we will necessarily lose the war on terror. And this defeat will render all of your parochial concerns quite moot.
But the clintons need to control CA and its electoral votes in order to retake the White House. If the Republicans win, the clintons lose control. Said another way, a vote for McClintock is a vote for hillary; a vote for McClintock is a vote for the terrorists.

Said another way, you don't have the vaguest CLUE as to what you are talking about. A vote for RINOld is a vote for Kennedy is a vote for Clowntoon is a vote for more unprincipled liberal "pubbies" is a vote for more mess in Sackamentals and not less. It's that simple. You are part of the PROBLEM, not part of the solution. That (R) after RINOld's name is NOT all there is to politics, else HilLiary could change her party affiliation and she'd get your vote... Grow up and get some VALUES. Read the Constitution for the United States, then read RINOld's "positions" and if you think that his B.S. degree, or his Ph.D. is more to your taste, wallow in it... (BTW, you probably know what BS is... PhD is the same, piled higher and deeper... and that is just exactly what we will get if you get your way.) THINK, people... celebrity is NOT what a Constitutional Republic is about. It is VALUES, PRINCIPLES and FREEDOM FROM BIG Government..... None of which are offered by RINOld or his supporters.
