Doesn't he know whether or not he illegally purchased prescription pain killers? What facts does he need to gather to tell his audience whether or not he is addicted to prescription painkillers? Freepers, first off I would guess there are dozens, if not hundreds of new members that joined within the last 24 hours. 99% of these are going to be liberal scum.
Second, I am really disappointed in the fact that long time Freepers have already passed judgement on Rush. These know it all low life's can go to hell!
Third, maybe you do not have the brain power to figure out that Rush is listening to his lawyer, which is a very smart thing to do.
Fourth, it is also quite possible that Rush is deliberately not saying anything, KNOWING that by not saying yes or no now the media frenzy will continue. He may just be giving them more rope.
The truth will come out eventually. You mind readers around here disgust me. Typical spineless conservatives, you would turn on your own mother if things get a little hot.

He knows whether or not he was addicted to painkillers. He doesn't know if the authorities are looking to charge him with a crime. They don't typically go after users, so he's going to keep quiet until the leagl situation is cleared up. It's the only smart thing to do.
