Finally got the dittocam up...he looks tired...doing more talking during break than he typically does, he usually surfs the 'Net at commercials.

I agree... IF HE IS 'GUILTY' OF THE DRUG ALLEGATIONS.. SO BE IT!
Most of us will still support him & he will no doubt get a new level of respect for the Hollyweird set.
we all have skeletons in our closet & some get caught & some do not.
I believe this whole set of events this week will only make him a stronger presence for Conservative thought

They have always called us racists anyway...I think its time to make them explain why we can't say the truth regardless of how they choose to characterize it...it's liberal McCarthyism and time to shine the light of day on it.

Rush can afford the best lawyer in Florida, if not the country, and he got him in Roy Black. I would do the same thing if I had the moola.
and listen.....Rush NEEDS the best lawyer. He had a target on his head before this drug thing. And this is a joint taskforce that inadvertently caught him in their sting. We're talking FBI, not just keystone cops on the corner. Don't begrudge Rush getting himself the best lawyer money could buy.

Assuming that he has been using those pills, they must be VERY POWERFUL for him to risk his career by continuing to take them. Just had hard is it to kick this particular habit?

Oh c'mon, why do so many simply assume that he immediately consumed all the pills he bought(if the allegations are true)? Ever consider that he might be stockpiling? Since a user's greatest risk at getting busted is through the purchase process, one would be wise to minimize the number of transactions.
To: DollyCali
If true, Rush will only be credible if he supports drug legalization.....otherwise the "we have skeletons" argument doesn't wash.
To: YaYa123
some of us equate FBI with Keystone Kops sometimes though ;-)

Do you think we are going to stop this race-baiting by cooperating with them? No way. The only solution is to stand up to the race-baiters. Speaking out anyway. I know I'm not brave enough to do that. I need people like Rush to lead the way. Never let them silence you.

Got the dittocam back up now. Keep trying, I'm sure there are TONS of people trying to access it...
To: habs4ever
All in all, a good legal performance, but I give it about a "4" on the possibility of keeping his fan base together.

Issue an apology? Puh-lezzzzzzzze!! Why does he need to make an apology for stating the truth? I'm so tired of the left demanding apologies everytime something is said that just happens to hurt their feelings. If apologies were issued each and every time something was said that cause hurt feelings we would eventually speaking our minds. In the end, if that happens, we may as well take the first admendment out of the constitution because at that point we wouldn't need it!
To: Jaded
Yeah, cuz if he says never, someone from college will show up and say we got high once in 1967, blah, blah, blah.... Bush's DWI all over again. I think if it had merit, he wouldn't be on the air today.
I agree. I was one who did not know what to make of the drug story, and yesterday as Fox filled in more alleged details it seemed more and more true and up until I heard his voice this morning I wondered if he would be there.
I must say, his demeanor and words today hint to me there is no basis, but we shall see. This woman claims to be in possession of certain materials (emails and such) and I am positive Black wants to see all of it before Rush says anything that could be twisted, if in fact this is a set-up.
