A large, boisterous crowd of several thousand greeted Arnold Schwarzenegger during a lunchtime rally at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa today.

"First, let me say that Jeff "Skunk" Baxter rocks. The former Doobie Brother played with the warm-up band really whipped the crowd up. His guitar solos, including an especially hot one during Arnold's new campaign song Twisted Sister's We're not going to take it, were great, as was his version of the National Anthem."

Jeff "Skunk" Baxter "former Doobie Brother" former member of Steely Dan, world renowned session guitarist and record producer has been a conservative Republican working for conservative issues for at least 25 years. Thanks for posting this great picture of him.

I met Skunk after the rally. Nice guy. Hugh Hewitt was talking to him about appearing on his radio show. I know that Baxter is a defense specialist who has testified in front of Congress. As for his guitar playing, he hasn't lost a step.
