AN DIEGO (AP) -- Gubernatorial front-runner Arnold Schwarzenegger acknowledged that he has "behaved badly" to women and offered an apology Thursday.

Schwarzenegger's remarks, as he kicked off a four-day bus tour of the state in the final days of the recall campaign, came after a Los Angeles Times story published Thursday in which six women accused him of sexually harassing and groping them.

Actually, I think they "broke" over a year ago - but were just kind of brushed away and forgotten about. I guess Bob just served up a painful reminder instead of creating a conspiracy like so many would like to believe.

Three refused to be identified, and the women who made the 2000 allegation was directly refuted. Obviously, Arnold admits that he's been at least a bit boorish over the years, but this is nothing new. These allegations have been made before, for example, in the Premiere Magazine article in 2001.

If this brand of Republican politics takes hold in California, it will begin to spread across the nation and infect the GOP in other areas where many centrist-RINO's dwell. If that happens, the GOP as we know it today, will die. Having said that, such an event might be just the thing for straightenout American politics. The Whig Party basically turned into the Republican Party. The Democratic-Republican Party turned into the Democratic Party. I think a change is in the cards at some future date. Especially if things work out, the way the centrist-RINO`s anticipate.

In any event, Indian Casinos pay no state taxes because of McClintock, Davis, and Bustamante (and the rest of the Democrat establisment). Perhaps we shouldn't require them to pay 25% of earnings like other states, but ZERO is an outrageous scam.

The first step is to admit one’s problem, stress, suffering, and symptoms, as opposed to a state of denial.

The second basic step is to address the question of why am I suffering, which usually is answered by blaming someone or something else, even if it is one’s genetics, one’s body, one’s addictions, one’s emotions, one’s past, God, evil, etc.

The third step is acceptance of responsibility for one’s suffering and symptoms. As long as we remain in a state of projection and blame, we are bound and not free.

The fourth step is discovering what creates our pain and symptoms, exactly what one was trying to blame on others and what one is responsible for.

The fifth step is the recognition of what the unconscious beliefs are that produce my symptoms and my suffering.

Goes to credibility. Hey, I could say that McClintock has ovine proclivities. It doesn't make it true, and if I provide neither evidence nor a method of further checking out my story, then you must proceed on the assumption that it is untrue. You said the stories were falsehoods because of timing and anonymity.

Well, had I chosen to write an essay on the topic, I would have said that you can assume them to be falsehoods.

Regarding Arnold copping (so to speak) to these horrible allegations, I think it's terrible that he has denigrated the lofty reputation of film actors. Clearly, he had not acted to the high standards of his profession and so traumatized these women that they were in shock. All of them. Until 5 days before the election.

I'm not going to buoy Chris Lehane on this. If they get away with it this time, they'll do it again. And again. And again.

The line must be drawn. Schwarzenegger says "wherever there is smoke, there is fire." Should I believe you, or him?

Look at what happened to the Tories in Canada. They became the Progressive Conservative Party, gradually moved to the left, rejecting conservative philosophy, and today they hold 12 seats in the House of Commons, one fewer than the far-left NDP.

The official opposition party is now Canadian Alliance, which is an actual conservative party.

If we continue down this path, the same sort of scenario will likely come to pass here.
