Kinda hard to believe, but probably the next thing we'll hear is that he's been boppin' the maid.....

Seriously, if he was using black-market Oxycontin at that point in time, wouldn't you think he'd *avoid* that as a show topic? And avoid it like the fricking plague? Yes, I think so, too.
FWIW, when my wife had the plate put in her neck 2 years ago, she took several different brands of codeine+tylenol for quite a few months, and all I ever noticed was mild sedation- about like having a beer with dinner. When the pain faded, she quit taking it without any difficulty I could see.

1998? Smell the Arkansas Mafia in on this? When the maid
spoke in the Leona Helmsley case, the people listened. Who was there to hear the tax quote? Nobody but the maid.
Lots of money brings in people you should not have in your circle of trust. Too much money changed many a person. Good luck Mr. Limbaugh. I hope you have an answer for the tabloids. This woman will not stop with the hillbilly heroin claim. She will make millions discussing a lot more. Get ready

I know someone who has became addicted to OxyContin. When the source of that drug ran out he started taking whatever was available, evenuatlly ending up on crack and completely destroyed his life as a functional member of society.
Based on my observations there is no way a person could function with the daily clarity that Rush has exibited since his "alledged" drug habit started.
To: lainie
Hmm. Someone addicted to pain-killers faces the possibility of losing his livelihood? That's bad news for the NFL, Major League Baseball, the NHL, the NBA, the...

HEY!!!!...........whatever happened to OJ's "maid"....maybe the DNC got to Rush's maid to sweeten the pot just like the dream team did to the poor woman in the OJ fiasco!
And remember, as Rush says, ladies and gentlemen, "it's not the actual issue that matters BUT THE SERIES-NESS OF THE CHARGES!!!!!!
And this is h..h...h..ugh......(there, I said it!)

Don't we know from Election 2000 that the whole Palm Beach County government is arch-Democrat? So wouldn't the state attorney there also be?
Maybe prominent conservatives should think twice about living in Dem jurisdictions.

Let's assume Rush is a complete dope addict. Is he going to be getting pills from a #$%^&! *housekeeper*? and one that he barely knows?
That was the first hole I saw in this story. I'm sure with as much money and connections as Rush has, he'd have no problem getting in touch with Winona Ryder's doctor. That jumped right out at me too. If this maid was able to get 4,700 pills so easily, I'm sure Rush wouldn't have needed her at all.
I haven't read the entire story yet, but I heard on the radio that she also claims the supposed e-mail correspondence has all been "destroyed." Convenient, isn't it?

LOL.
You want unbiased from the Enquirer? Are you mad?

"Sh*t... Talk about about having a bad day." That's right Mister, one helluva bad day. I feel sick to my stomach.
But you know what???? This is a great day for us to show what we're made of. I'm emailing Rush my best wishes, I'm defending him on every website I can find, and I'm writing to every Rush enemy who would kick him when he's down.
"These are the times that try men's souls". We can handle it!
I don't think it's a coincidence that The Enquirer decides to come out with this drug story after Rush's ESPN flap. They've obviously been sitting on it for awhile. But hey. Rush is a big guy. He can get himself out of this mess, and we need to stick by him while he's doing it.

You sound much too pleased about this big hit on Rush when there is nothing to back up such insane witch hunting by the insane left. We must be smart enough not to react to every slanderous prevarication that will appear in great quantity from the left media and the DNC. Paid stooges are nothing new. So far this week we have had 2 Wilson (Johnson) and the Miami housekeeper.
Until proof is available on any charge, I am solidly behind the attacked. The left makes me ashamed of them, of any validity they garner. I suspect come election time they will be vanquished. We are not really stupid, they just think so.
To: Swordmaker
What proof does anyone have that Rush sent the alleged emails. They may have been sent from his Macintosh, but what proof is there that someone else, perhaps a household servant, like, possibly a maid, who would have had access to the computer while Rush was on air? If Rush was being set up, this would be the way to do it. Didn't I read that a hard disk drive was removed or backed up? What did they do, swap it out with an empty drive, or just clone via FireWire, etc?
