Please pray for a 7 yr old with Leukemia

I would like to ask for prayer for Jacquelyn. She's 7 yrs old and was diagnosed with luekemia in late June. The prognosis isn't that great, the doctors give her no more than a 50/50 chance to survive. She has been taking chemotherapy treatments every other week and has been a trooper and so brave.

She is supposed to be having another treatment this week but she can't because she is too sick. She has a blood fungus and some kind of infection and she's in extreme pain. They have her on morphine. I'm just so concerned about her. She's such a beautiful little girl, so full of life and personality and I know she's in God's hands but we all love her so much we want her here with us.

My daughter-in-law said that she teared up in front of her the other and Jacquelyn hugged her and told her don't worry I'll be okay. Saturday, they let my grandchildren see her and they read her a book but she's been too sick most of the time to have any visitors except her parents.

I ask everyone I see to pray for her and I know how faithful so many of you are and I'd like you to add your prayers.

I wish I had a picture of her, you'd all fall in love with her immediately.

I'm so sorry for the long delay in an update. My only excuse is life has been more than hectic and (I think this is a good excuse) Jacquelyn has been doing fine.

Her mother doesn't take her out much but during the holidays she got play regularly with her best friend. Jacquelyn finally finished her first complete round of Chemo today and then they were going to do an ultra-sound on her heart and a spinal tap and send her home. She should be home tonight. I don't know when she will start another course or whether the chemo is being effective against the leukemia as it was before the Typhlitis. My son's family saw her Sunday and said that she was doing great and she played with the kids while they were there.

Thank you for your continued prayers and forgive me for being lax about updates, I'll try to do better in the future:-}

Glory hallelujah to the Most High God! Jacquelyn is in remission! They just found out a few hours ago!!!

Jacquelyn's prognosis in the beginning was not good and they were told that it would take 2 to 3 years to get her into remission if it could be done.

Thank God and thank you all for your prayers! Please continue your prayers that she will stay in remission.
