Please pray for a 7 yr old with Leukemia

I would like to ask for prayer for Jacquelyn. She's 7 yrs old and was diagnosed with luekemia in late June. The prognosis isn't that great, the doctors give her no more than a 50/50 chance to survive. She has been taking chemotherapy treatments every other week and has been a trooper and so brave.

She is supposed to be having another treatment this week but she can't because she is too sick. She has a blood fungus and some kind of infection and she's in extreme pain. They have her on morphine. I'm just so concerned about her. She's such a beautiful little girl, so full of life and personality and I know she's in God's hands but we all love her so much we want her here with us.

My daughter-in-law said that she teared up in front of her the other and Jacquelyn hugged her and told her don't worry I'll be okay. Saturday, they let my grandchildren see her and they read her a book but she's been too sick most of the time to have any visitors except her parents.

I ask everyone I see to pray for her and I know how faithful so many of you are and I'd like you to add your prayers.

I wish I had a picture of her, you'd all fall in love with her immediately.

As the Grandmother of a granddaughter that is in her fourth year of remission from leukemia after a bone marrow transplant, be assured that Jacqueline(?) has my sincere prayers as does the family.

The worst result of the leukemia for Jennifer is a resultant stunting of her growth (she was nine when it was found and diagnosed) ... but she says that she did not want to be tall anyway!

FR prayed back then for Jen as did people around the world.

May the good Lord, in all his healing goodness, watch over this little girl, may He guide her medical team, and may He comfort and give hope to her family.

Tiki -- I was a pediatric nurse in the 50's in a NYC hospital that specialized in the care of these poor children. At that time there was no hope. How different is now!! Jacquelyn has a chance. It seems as tho she is responding to treatment for that fungus problem, and that is good. There is hope!

I will have her in my prayers each evening.

I just found out that they had to life-flight Jacquelyn to Albuquerque last night. I don't have any other information but it sounds serious. Thank you in advance for your prayers.
