Suspicious situation. Rush hit for racism and drugs, and then there's the "leak" story. They are targeting the most powerful Republicans, Karl Rove and Rush and of course Pres. Bush.

Don't believe this for two seconds. Assume that Rush is some kind of pill freak for a moment. The guy makes 20mm per year. He afford to have a doctor on retainer writing scripts for him for any drug he could possibly want. Oxycontin, dilaudid, Want some coke, Dr. Feelgood has just what you need. The only drugs not obtainable in this manner are the hallucinogens, certain narcotis, ie heroin and a few others.

I agree with you Bonnie. There is something strange here. Rush is before the public 15 hours a week. I have never heard slurred speech, fuzzy thinking or any evidence of hyperactivity or hypomania. Besides that he makes 35 million a year. Hard to imagine him hooked on pills sufficient to have him use a housekeeper to get more. They are talking about thousands.

i don't know anyone who hasn't taken pain pills some time in their past...these are probably legal prescriptions that he went shopping for (from doctor to doctor).

And I took a few tylenol #3's in the past week for the pain from an infection in my foot. Deep puncture wounds are nasty, nasty, nasty. (Yes, I had the tenanus, had the antibiotics, did all that doctor stuff.)
