I just listened to Rush explain himself over this. He did so quite eloquently.

Yes he did, but once again.....those people who want to make an issue of it aren't listening....as Rush stated....it wasn't an issue a few days ago.....now that CNN has sink their teeth in bashing Rush; they will never let this issue go......

I read on a blog that he defended himself by bashing the South? Is that true?

As Rush always says about the Dems...
"Its not the subtance...but the seriousness of the charge."

I too have just (and am presently) listening to Rush explain himself. I have a different take on this...................
Rush is spending his precious radio time today (10/1) discussing his ESPN comments rather than talking about the many problems that face this country and this President.
His new career in Sports broadcasting is 'bleeding' into his regular show.
JMHO.

there is and has been for many years a tremendous amount of "social concern," in America about whether blacks in any profession "do well." Congress is "very desirous" that blacks in America do well, so we have affirmative action laws on the books. Which is EXACTLY what RUSH said as it pertains to the media. So I guess this writer agrees with RUSH.

No not at all. I watched the Essay he did on Sunday and I just listened to the show. He said nothing about the South.

I also thought we were over that deal. McNab is not a franchise-carrying quarterback (ala Michael Vick or Kurt Warner - at least until this year), but he's not as awful as someone like Ryan Leaf was.
Black conservative ping
If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.
[As i mentioned, the B/C & JD! lists are going to float into and out of whack over the forseeable future, while I try to cobble a rig back together for myself. My apologies for any incovenience or misunderstandings in this time frame. New signups/removals may be flaky in this time-frame as well; please bear with me, and keep in mind you may have to FReepmail me more than once for me to get it done. Thanks again!]

I noticed it too...but this has happened before.
I want Rush to talk about this "Time Travel" stuff or the California Recall.
A Democrat presidential candidate says he'd like to travel back in time and Rush hasn't mentioned it???

youd think that Id supported the South, and everything that that means.
I am to understand this was taken as a quote from his radio show today. Was the blogger incorrect?

McNabb, after his best game of the year, is now rated number 30 out of 32 NFL quarterbacks, just barely ahead of Kordell.

I suppose it's too much to expect that the best QB on the team is the one who starts, and that the color of his skin would not be a factor.
To: ConservativeMan55
Thank you.
Did he say anything remotely like that?
