There was a pow-wow in Chappaqua New York on the Sunday Night the President spoke to the nation about Iraq.

No doubt about that.

Perhaps it will help is we ALL send them nice e-mails telling them how we feel.
It will be hard to be nice but if we're professional about it, perhaps we will see a subtle change back.

Thanks for that post. I remember when Lazio brought the subject to light during his campaign and how the rats and the media twisted everything and accused him of mudslinging and attacking the sliming witch.

The article in the WSJ today I believe pointed out they wondered the same thing. When they read the daily briefing from the White House a couple of days ago guess who brought this up first thing? Helen Thomas. She asked if Bush was going to ignore a covert agent being outed or some such nonsense.
To: Peach
Good idea! I think I will start with sending them a copy of the Novak article from last night and ask them nicely to read the article!

American Muslim Alliance - American Museum Council, a typo? Yeah, right.
I guess I forgot to say that I did not believe it was a typo, just that it was reported as a typo.
Is the DOJ just protecting their gag reflexes by not prosecuting (or at least forming a "council" to look into it) that big beach hitlary?

LOL! It's so obvious we here on FR have read more than most of the press, FNC included.
Reading is good. Research is good.
The press have lately become stenographers, dutifully taking down the DNC talking points. They are in great danger - all of them - of being presstitutes.

Great link. It looks like their endorsement was tied to Bush's opposition to "secret evidence" in deportation hearings. I bet they feel raped right about now.
As for Ashcroft and his investigative proclivities, I think we have to acknowledge that there are layers upon layers of investigators at DOJ (and/or Homeland Security) who are probably looking at this or that at any given point. I'm not ready to believe that the administration is willing to cover up any serious wrongdoing, because the risk of later exposure is too high.

Just can't take the leftist slant anymore.
This is the biggest game of "let's make a scandal" I've ever seen.

In May 2000, Alamoudi contributed $1,000 to Mrs. Clinton's Senate campaign. She also accepted $50,000 from a related group, the American Muslim Alliance, at a June 2000 fundraiser in Boston. The AMA has since merged with the AMC. The RICO statutes apply to the DNC and, especially, the Clintons.

Here locally in OKC, I heard the Channel 4 guy read the same thing as NBC last night!
The local Fox Channel, however, went with the Novak story along with having a retired supervisor, CIA agent, who verified she was an analyst and this story was "much ado about nothing!"

I noticed E.D. was on a roll saying how horrible this all is when nobody seems to know exactly what is going on yet. Hillary using the 50 grand until after the election, misreporting the contribution, and the fact this man was in their administration up until the election is disgusting. What intelligence would that man, perhaps with the help of others, have been able to get his hands on? He had access for years with an administration that was lax with security. Remember the missing laptops with classified info? I am waiting for the reporters on tv to dig into this story with zeal. Someone let me know when the story comes...

Today on CNN around 11:00, they had an author on who'd written a book about the CIA.
He had extremely complimentary things to say about the Bush administration, particularly about how careful they are to NOT LEAK!
He went on to discuss leaks in general and how hard they are to prove and how prevalent they are.
I could tell the CNN anchor did not want to hear all this and they were looking to "sex" up the story.
I'm off to plant mums here in SC and try to ignore this story for a few hours.

Someone needs to step up and do their job."
Like Gingrich & company did?
Besides, we [I] don't have that much ammo, and face it, there would be war.
The way the 2000 election map looked [blue & red] that war would be larger than the Civil ( anti-sedition ) War.

It would not take a much of leap in faith ...
To suspect that OBL purchased "sanctuary" from pursuit by the Clinton Administration.....
We have alreay been shown, that the Clintons were no more than political whores -- selling themselves and the country's security for personal power and gain.
Arab (Saudi) money owns more in Washington than treasury notes and real estate..

Are you saying this organization is the same as the American Muslim council the article refers to?
The American Muslim Council is a member organization of the group that endorsed GWB for President. In my first post I incorrectly gave the American Muslim Alliance as the name of the umbrella group, which is the American Muslim Political Coordinating Council Political Action Committee. The members of that group include a who's who of terrorist sympathizers, if not outright terrorists: American Muslim Alliance, American Muslim Council, Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), and Muslim Public Affairs Council.
