Several freepers were asking why the leak story was re-released at that time--what was it supposed to deflect attention from. I guessed Hillary announcing she would run for president, so I got half of it right. I know, it's not much of anything to brag about the fact I figured Hillary was probably involved in the orchestrated media frenzy. She isn't going to want her Jewish supporters to be reminded of her Muslim extremist supporters.

I will say that is what is going on here -- Clintons brought back up the Wilson story -- that report to the DOJ happened back in July and now it is news?

That one has Clinton fingerprints all over it to cover up this story and probably others that are coming out!

As well, they have not done a good job reporting the "leaks" scandal; we have more information here on FR than they have reported to date. This despite e-mails from many of us.

You and me both! When I read Novak's article that it had been at DOJ since July, it raised all kinds of suspicions! They tried to make this story into something in July but it didn't fly. Now they are back again.

According to what I read the CIA turns everything like this over to DOJ and it is always a criminal investigation when it concerns leaking.

Guess the press don't care when DemocRATs leak classified from the House and Senate! That's okay and should be ignored!

WASHINGTON (IslamOnline) - New York's senatorial race, pitting Democrat Hillary Clinton against Republican Rick Lazio, has raised the ire of Muslim Americans concerned about campaign contribution returns and mudslinging smear campaign tactics utilized by Lazio's campaign.

In the latest round of accusations centering on Muslim Americans, the Lazio campaign inundated New York area voters with telephone calls linking campaign funding by American Muslim groups with terrorism, the bombing of the USS Cole in Yemen, and Hillary Clinton.

In late October, New York newspapers - the New York Daily News, in particular - ran stories stating that Hillary Clinton accepted campaign contributions from American Muslim organizations and individuals. The stories later went on to misrepresent the nature of these organizations and statements from, in particular, one individual, Abdurahman Alamoudi, a member of the American Muslim Council (AMC).

Lazio later pounced on allegations made within the stories and initiated a campaign in the last days before the election stating that Mrs. Clinton was supported by “terrorists” here in the United States.

In May 2000, Alamoudi contributed $1,000 to Mrs. Clinton's Senate campaign. She also accepted $50,000 from a related group, the American Muslim Alliance, at a June 2000 fundraiser in Boston. The AMA has since merged with the AMC.

Mrs. Clinton apparently knew that Alamoudi's donation could be politically problematic - her staff reported the contribution on Federal Election Commission records as coming from "the American Museum Council." She later called the misleading entry a "typographical error."

American Muslim Alliance - American Museum Council, a typo? Yeah, right.

The clintons seem to have a soft spot for terrorists, including the ones they pardoned.

Feel like a bait and switch. I kept hoping that Murdoch had become more honorable over the years since he did that with San Antonio newspapers. By the time he was finished the conservative paper was out and the more liberal paper in. Never did trust the man!
