Estimada Raza de Aztlan

Greetings from the Revolutionary Council and Provisional Government of Aztlan  (Formerly California 'the founding state' for those who unaware of this)

Next Tuesday October 7, Nuestra Raza will have an unprecedented and outstanding opportunity to elect one of our own as Governor of Alta California. It has been a very long struggle since the invasion of our territories and this election will not be handed to us in a silver platter. We must do everything humanly possible to bring out our gente to vote on October 7. Every community committee and MEChA Chapter throughout the state must work diligently and tirelessly next Tuesday to bring out the vote on behalf of Cruz Bustamante. Remember "Dump Davis - Elect Bustamante"

Throughout the recall campaign, Cruz Bustamante has proven himself to be a loyal soldier for La Raza. He did not buckle under intense pressure to disown or renounce the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA). This is sufficient proof that he will remain loyal to our people if elected. There is no question that Cruz Bustamante is the best choice in this period of our political development.

La Raza de Alta California has arrived at this juncture through a combination of hard work and sheer luck. The hard work consisted in registering our gente to vote and in implementing political education programs in our communities. The sheer luck was a consequence of certain events that combined to lock-in Cruz Bustamante in a situation that presents him with a great chance to win the election. The first is that, as Lt. Governor, he was at the right place at the right time. The second is that Governor Gray Davis happens to be an incompetent of the worst kind. The third is that there was a Republican millionaire that financed the collection of signatures for the recall. The fourth is that Cruz Bustamante seized upon the opportunity and declared himself a candidate. And the fifth and last is that there are two Republicans that will split their vote.

Estimada Raza, let us not forgo this opportunity to elect a governor of Mexican descent since the end of the US war against Mexico. Let us make October 7, 2003 a historic day for our people, a day that will be remembered as the day when we began the retaking of our lost territories.

Remember "Dump Davis - Elect Bustamante"

Hasta La Victoria Siempre,

Cuauhtli Minister of Information Nation of Aztlan for the RC-PGA

Isn't it nice to know that we have people right here on our forum who are helping slugs like this to further their cause?  No wonder Cruz ha spoken so highly of their candidate.  It's the orgs like this one that have driven my pasion to make sure we destroy Cruz's chance at becoming governor.  Is their movement a real threat right now?  I don't believe so.  None the less, installing their butt-boy to a position where he can appoint their fellow travelers into positions of power within the state is the last thing I want to see.

This is what the MEChA Constitution says (Article II, section 1):

"General membership shall consist of any student who accepts, believes and works for the goals and objectives of MEChA, including the liberation of AZTLAN, meaning self-determination of our people in this occupied state and the physical liberation of our land."

From ""El Plan de Aztlan": In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal "gringo" invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlan from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny.

From the Hoover Institute:

Thus Rodolfo Acuña's Occupied America claims the Southwest for Mexicans. Chicano activists (Chicanismo) push not only for civil rights for illegal Mexicans but also for the return (reconquista) of the lost provinces to form Aztlán. Chicanismo demands Spanish language and culture education, not English or American cultural schooling. The Movimiento Estudiante Chicano de Aztlán (MECHA) in 1970 formed a political party, La Raza Unida, won control of Crystal City, Texas, and tried to make it into a Chicano city. The party split and has had little political impact since but could easily revive in California or Texas.

There are 1300 unions in California supporting Democrats. Democrats also support high levels of immigration?

Unions and immigrants just don't seem to mix. Illegals can take over many union jobs, without reporting income. Legal immigrants are at a disadvantage for union jobs that use the "last in, first out layoff rules."

you wonder if how 'doctored' that image is? That looks like from old movies from long ago... 40s-50s? Wild guess.. just doesn't seem like a real archive Cruz pic, dated 1970, unless he was an actor in study? ;o)

that site if full of crap, and hatred.

In related stories, Pope John Paul II announced that he is a Roman Catholic, and a committee of esteemed zoologists reported that mammals of genus ursus appear to prefer wooded areas when defecating.

Bustamante should remember that Arnold has much experience in terminating MEChAs.
The Line Of The Day.....LOL. It should be spread all over California....perhaps some of the more clueless types will then ask what a "MEChA" is.

at least Arnold is pro-America and doesn't seem to desire the destruction of the USA.

So is that he wants the guns of Californians?

"These people are just like the "Palestinians," however they have yet to use suicide bombings and other terrorism for their "cause." I always wonder about the day they do start doing this and what the US response will be. Will it be to negotiate with them as it currently pushes Israel to do, or will it pursue these terrorists and bring them to justice......."

If and when this happens, I think you will see a real example of Yankee Justice.

"Lets treat them like the terrorists they are and fight them like Al Qaeda. 'retaking of our lost territories' sounds like an act of war."

If not an act of war, it sure as hell is a declaration of war. Saddle up! Prepare to mount! Mount! Forward, Ho!

Why take the risk? Crush them now.

This reads like a parody from The Onion. If only it were....

Aztlan.net is for real. Well, in some sense of the word "real".
