TODAY IS THE DAY TO SUPPORT OUR PRESIDENT!
Bush-Cheney '04 ^ | Sep 29, 2003 | Bush-Cheney '04 Campaign Chairman

Ken Mehlman
Campaign Manager
Bush-Cheney '04
September 29, 2003

Dear XXXXX,

Last week, I warned you that liberal special interests had pledged to spend over $400 million to defeat President Bush.

Join this campaign by making your contribution of $2,000, $1,000, $500, or even $250 or $100 today!

Since my message to you, the Washington Post has revealed that these liberal groups have already raised over $185 million of their $400 million goal. They have already begun spending it on ads to defeat our President.

http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SupportOurPresident/

This confirms that we will face a tough, well-funded Democrat attack campaign. While the Democrats will have endless soft money to spend attacking President Bush, I hope we'll have your help. Will you stand with President Bush and help build the strongest grassroots campaign in history by making a contribution today?

http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SupportOurPresident/

Tomorrow is the deadline. The President's campaign will be required to report how many grassroots supporters have contributed to his campaign and how much it has raised by then. Make sure you are on the President's side; make your contribution today at:

http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SupportOurPresident/

President Bush needs your help to overcome the flood of liberal dollars that will be spent to defeat him.

Sincerely,

Ken Mehlman
Campaign Manager,
Bush-Cheney '04

PS: By applying conservative principles to take on challenges like global terrorism, a recession, a school system that was leaving too many children behind and so many other challenges, President Bush made history and ensured a better tomorrow. Help ensure that he has four more years in the White House by contributing to this effort today at:

I wish Rudy would run against Schummer and kick him out of the Senate! I loathe the man!

You and I both! Did you hear Rush yesterday and his fact finding about Schummer? Just three years ago, Schummer wanted to decriminalize leaks of this sort. He also said the Bush administration was over zealous about leaks after 9/11. Schumer smells an opportunity here and anytime he gets a chance to get his ugly mug on TV, he will take it. Principle be damned.

The press is in all out mode. This all reminds me so much of 1992 when they decided to take down Bush 41. The headlines are eerily similar with the layoffs and job losses. They are deliberately badmouthing the progress in Iraq in order to make people lose confidence in the Bush administration and in the economy, hence the horrible consumer confidence numbers released today. Sheesh...it's all doom and gloom out there in the press world and it isn't going to get any better. The WH needs to get its PR campaign up and running PRONTO!

This is vital. I just made my contribution and hope everyone else does the same.

In 2002, a million people gave $30 to the Republican party and we got rid of Tommy Daschle. Grassroots contributions can do the same in '04!

Perhaps Bush should be soliciting funds from among those folks who now have jobs because of his trade policies? Or is it not legal for him to solicit funds overseas?

Oooohh, that's right Sweetie! This all started after President Bush took office. No evidence of it before then. None. [yawn]

Sorry lady, I'm not your sweetie! As for Bush, he's been in office for a couple of years now, and done nothing to stop the job drain. In fact that drainage is accelerating. Just as the sins of Clinton belong to Clinton, the sins of Bush belong to Bush.

Took me a minute!

Soros' group, 'Americans Coming Together', has a goal of $75 million. He started it with $10 million of his own. Doesn't take many of those contributions to come up with $400 million. This 'ACT' group is dedicated solely to defeating President Bush.

Soros has many other 'groups' and grants he sponsors to the tune of millions of dollars. One of the fun groups he began in 1994 is 'Project on Death in America', a pro-death/euthanasia/assisted suicide group. Well.....it works for me! Dem candidate gets elected and I'll want to die!

I've sent Bush/Cheney a modest contribution and ordered my shirts and bumper stickers. Intend to send more $ later.

I didn't know that Soros had a group about euthenasia! Unbelieveable!

What is beginning to bother me is the amount of money that Indian gambling interest are beginning to donate across America it seems with no limits. Someone needs to really start looking into that -- almost $4 million to Cruz! Wonder if there is any place that lists Indian contributions to DemocRATs. I have a hunch it is huge! The problem with these groups that the RATs have fronting is accountability!

I just donated $25 dollars. Thanks for the inspiration Per Loin. W is not perfect but supporting a particular party is like subscribing to cable: even if you primarily have interest in only a handfull of channel (fox news, comedy central, nick at nite, history channel) you still paid for many channels you have no interest in (mtv, lifetime, cnn, msnbc.)

With the baseless, emotionally-charged-intellectually-bankrupt attacks daily (this Wilson thing is about as cheap and baseless as any), I'll gladly support my legally elected Commander-In-Chief, President George W. Bush.

They are deliberately badmouthing the progress in Iraq in order to make people lose confidence in the Bush administration and in the economy, hence the horrible consumer confidence numbers released today.

People are hearing that $87 billion figure for Iraq and figuring that they'll be paying it in taxes sooner or later.

They don't "get it" that tax cuts for "the wealthy" means that "the wealthy" can hire more of them and the more people working, the more people paying taxes.

In a way I don't blame the folks who are working and paying taxes now for getting worried, but they need to realize that the more people who work and pay taxes, the more money is coming in for that $87 billion.

OTOH, if you take incentive and competition to achieve to the best of their ability away from people, pretty soon they will give up and stop working.

I'm well past the stage of gettin or needin a job. But that doesn't mean I'm willing to idly watch so many Americans being sold out by the big money boys and their DC hacks. Selling out America to foreign powers, particularly to those who are building nuclear arsenals aimed at us, is not a good idea.

Thanks for the Ping. Our guys definitely could use some help, but they must also help themselves, in defending against the massive DemocRat onslaught... It's like the Rope-a-Dope without the counter-attack.
