Kentucky is and always has been a very important bellwether state. This news/poll must sadden and depress all the leftists at the C-J. Ha!

Just goes to show you how liberal the C-J is. Huge approval numbers, but they choose to quote the blood-for-oil morons to close out the story. Don't worry, Kentuckians are well aware of how liberal our major newspapers are (thanks to Knight-Ridder, for one, for continuing to import crakpots for the editorial staffs).

I'd say this polling news is very good for Pubbie Ernie Fletcher's attempt to win the gov's mansion. BTW, the Political Oddsmaker lists this race in Fletcher's favor, with a 51.7% chance of winning. This site also has the GOP favored in LA, and MS is an even race.

Bush receiving a 65% approval rating from KY voters is bad news for Ben Chandler, who has decided to make the KY Governor's race into a referendum on President Bush.

I hope this can translate to some help for Fletcher.
It also says that the so called national polls don't mean as much asthe rat media want us to think. If they polled in Mass, NY, VT DEL CONN ORE WASH and NM. how-odd dean can start measuring the rooms in the White House. But those states will not be the only ones to vote.
