And on another story:

Study shows men 18 - 28 think 'Older Women' are easy, have money and fall asleep quickly after sex.

So if one third of women report ever having a date with a younger man, then it's a confirmed trend, and the human race's biological programming has once again been turned upside down by a liberal magazine survey.

At 34, I really can't imagine dating a younger man. I would think everytime he was staring at me he was looking at my latest fine line...

Yep, I can honestly say that, knowing what I know now about life, I would certainly marry an older man by at least ten years.

I find the majority of men I meet in my age group have never grown up. I hate to think what it would be like with a guy 10 years younger. It would be nice to meet someone who knew the difference between a man and being a boy. That seems to be a concept not grasped by many baby boomer males.

I don't seek them out - they seek me out. In the last year, only three men my age or older (James, David, Scott) have taken me out, while I've dated nearly a dozen younger (thirty-something) men (Chris, John, Gregory, Daniel, Stuart *sigh*, Robert, Kavin, Cameron, Brad, Jeff, and next week, Don, then Steve). I turn down more dates than I accept.

Reminds me of the old joke.....

Why are women and dog poop so much alike?

Because the older they get, the easier they are to pick up.

NEW YORK — Demi Moore (search) is not alone. Close to a third of unmarried American women in their 40s through 60s who date are going out with younger men,

40 percent of the women said they had sex in the past six months.

About 35 percent of the women felt they didn't have sex often enough.

Isnt it obvious why 1/3 of the women are choosing younger men?

My boyfriend is younger than me and how sweet it is. I always get asked out by guys younger than me, but all men fall in love with me when they see me anyway. This one guy who was 17 saw me and wanted to go out with me and even asked me if I went to the catholic girls school. I was like HUH? and I told him the reason I didn't want to go out with him was because he was way too young. Then he copped an attitude about how age isn't important blah blah blah. I didn't want to go out with him because I was way out of his league. Males are really delusional. Men usually pout and stalk me until they finally get the picture I want nothing to do with them.

It's great dating younger no baggage like kids and wasn't wiped out financially by previous wives and child support and he didn't have like 3 marriages that went south. If a guy is divorced that's a red flag the wife threw him out for good reason. A guy who is that old who has never married is also another red flag that something is probably majorly wrong with him kinda like when kids pick teams and he is the last guy picked because nobody wants him. My younger guy is fun, successful, kind, goodlooking and is super sweet. The younger guy I'm with is the best man I ever met and I got suckered in by an older creep and he was the worst. I dumped him at the first hint of trouble.

The irony is for all the press Demis is getting about her young boyfriend, at 25 Ashton Kutcher is a year OLDER than Bruce Willis' new girlfriend, Brooke Burns.

Well, at my age and if I were single, I would consider dating a younger man.

My mother, who was widowed in her fifties and free to marry, told me the truth.

Most men want who want to marry after sixty want a nurse.

LOL

Sex on a first date? Only 2 percent of single women in the age group (40's to 60's) approved

They certainly don't approve in theory, but in practice their approval rate changes a bit.

"For both men and women, the top reason for dating was to find fun and companionship. Only 11 percent of the men and 2 percent of the women cited sex as the main motive..."

Shall I question the honesty, of those answers?

"Fun and companionship" = sex, along with the other stuff

according to this 55 yr. old

I don't blame them. I am 35 year old male, and only date women 22 to 27 or so. Less baggage, on balance. I figure if a woman isn't together enough my her mid 20s, she likely won't be until she clears well past 30. By then, she has more baggage than I care to deal with.
