Successful business leaders are members of country clubs. Now on Free Republic there are a number of folks who damn us for sounding like democrats because we face reality, while they demagogue people who have been a success in the capitalist system. Reality is turned on it's head when people sell out everything they believe in to support a man who cannot possibly win this race. Who of them in their right mind would desire a Bustamante victory, yet this is exactly what they chance facilitating. Lordy!

This class warfare by some of these conservatives sound just like the democRATs. Never thought I would see the day when Republicans (?) criticize people for being successful!

I am a golfer and I will vote for Tom. The phrase "country club Republicans" has nothing to do with Country Clubbing and everything to do with core beliefs.
