The principle that getting a little of what you want is better than getting none. Any questions?

The only reason you haven't heard any republican principals yet is because you are not listening. He is against the tax and spend drunkeness of the legislature in California. He is against the illegal aliens driver's licenses, he is against partial birth abortion, he is against the vehicle license increase, he said marriage is between a man and a woman, and he is a true fiscal conservative.

Now, if you haven't heard any of this, and I know there is more, I just am listing what I recall off the top of my head, then perhaps you are so blatantly against the man that you won't even look at what he has said. Fine, that is your choice, but don't try to berate us for ours!

Clearly he is more conservative than Davis and Cruz which like it or not are the only other choices that can win. We started this recall for this reason, the Davis regime is spending like madmen. We want it stopped. Or did you forget the reason for the recall?

Granted I'm in Virginia, but as a born and raised Californian....I'd vote for Satan himself to defeat Davis and Cruz. Another 3 years of Davis and Cruz and there won't be a businessman left in the state. Take half the loaf with Arnold rather than starving is my advice.

You didn't answer my question. Is McClintock, as governor, going to be successful at returning the illegals, a federal responsibility?

Do you mean principles or moral righteousness.

Because frankly I don't think that the governor of a state is typically a common rolemodel. The president of the United States surely. But governors usually fly much lower on the radar.

If your talking about politcal agenda. I would have to say that I support Arnold's fiscal agenda. As far as the social agendas go. I think that Tom would be just as apathetic as Arnold when it comes to actual practice. Even though he may give it better lip service.

"Six responses, not one answer. Not surprising."

Yeah I'm shocked. I still can't get a straight answer for this thread I made.

I really understand what you are saying here, and feel for you.I just wonder how many feel this way?

I hope to G_D that Arnold follows through on all these promises

I guess I do too,for the sake of the good people in California.

I hate to see Arnold become a hero for the GOP. We have enough problems with Spector,Collins,Snowe, etc. If the party gets any more compromised how can social conservatives stay a part?

I believe it will take someone extremely fiscally conservative to clear up the mess in California. What happens if Arnold gets in but is too tied to the left to make the drastic changes needed. If the states economy is gona fall anyway, I would rather see it be under a democrats watch?

Arnold is who the Republican Party has picked for us to vote for

This is the part that bothers me.

It's a mute point now! My answer would be "no", he wouldn't be. But, he would have given it a fight, in my humble opinion, further exposing the "corruption" of the government, which could setup further rational change by the hands of the voters in the upcoming election.

Now we have Arnold. Welcome to the LEFT all over again. You just watch. He's nothing but a Kennedy in Republican clothing, and much less conservative than JFK. California is in for trouble. And the Federal Government is going to bail them out. Wait and see.
