Laura Bush is the secret weapon. She has laid low, making appearances at schools, daycare centers and the like. I've always thought that if Bush's numbers dipped, we might see more of Laura in the public arena doing things like this.

Which leftist journalist is willing to attack her? All of them, just watch. They were brutal to the twins. They won't spare Laura.

Agreed. If public opinion is such that they think they can get away with a little Laura bashing, they will surely do so.

Too bad.
America just discovered its own wine is as good as French.
Its own water is just as good.
Its own cheese is just as good.
And everything else was always viewed as better....to include its own scenery.

How far she has come from the shy librarian who was afraid to give a speech in front of a small audience! Now the entire world is her audience and she handles it with the grace and dignity of a pro. She makes her predecesor seem like a hawker at a carnial by comparison! She most definitely IS a "secret weapon" and is very valuable to all of us. Of course France would far rather see Hillary, and that further reinforces our perceptions of them!!
