Jihad Activist Killed in Suspected 'Work

One Palestinian was killed and two others injured Saturday morning as a result of an explosion in the Gaza Strip city of Rafah, Palestinian sources said.
According to the Israel Radio report, the sources said that the dead man, Ahmed Hassan, was an Islamic Jihad activist, and that the circumstances indicated the explosion may have been a "work accident," meaning he may have been preparing or handling an explosive device that detonated unplanned.

In a separate incident, Palestinian gunmen fired at three different Israel Defense Forces outposts in the Gaza Strip overnight Friday.
The gunmen fired at two outposts near the settlements of Neveh Dekalim and Ganei Tal in the Gush Katif settlement bloc, and at an outpost near the Netzarim settlement in the northern Gaza Strip.
IDF soldiers fired back at the gunmen. No injuries were reported.
Also Friday, IDF forces operating in the West Bank arrested four wanted Palestinians.
Three men were arrested in the village of Bittir, west of Bethlehem, and one man was arrested south of Ramallah, Israel Radio reported.
