For those who actually want to find out what Arnold said, instead of having their button on full broadcast all the time, but never on receive.
"SCHWARZENEGGER: Well, first of all, as you know, I respect him very much. I mean, Tom is a terrific guy and he's very smart and we see eye on eye on a lot of the issues. I mean, we think alike. But this is a decision he has to make. I mean, I think that it is obviously much better, mathematically speaking, to win when you don't split the vote, and I think that it is very important for him to think about that, but I am not going to be the one that pushes him. But I'm looking forward to working with him in the future, because I think that he and I would make a great team."
"SCHWARZENEGGER: Well, first of all, you're absolutely correct. I would never raise taxes, because I feel that we do not have a problem that we have under-taxed. We have a problem that Sacramento has overspent. All they do is spend, spend, spend.
(APPLAUSE)
And then, when they realize they have spent too much, they've spent money they don't even have, then it is tax, tax, tax. And then, they want to punish the people of California for the mistakes that they have made in Sacramento. I think it is unfair to increase, for instance, the car tax by 300 percent."

(I'm voting for Arnold. McClintock doesn't deserve my vote!)

Hmmmm...the troll also just had a post pulled off a good news thread on Iraq. Busy little bugger. Not very clever though.

Here's my election prediction:
McClintock and Ahhnold stay in the race all the way. Ahhnold holds the edge over McCintock according to the polls, and because of that, many McCintock supporters will crossover to Ahhnold on election day.
The crossover voters will see Bustamante a bigger threat (correct assessment) to themselves and California than Ahhnold.

Am watching Colmes & Hannity and the 'town hall' session: sh & as are reading scripts at each other and I'm hoping the whole damned state slides ASAP into the Pacific so the election will be off the air soonest.
OMG! Just scanned across CSPAN2: 'skull woman' Shriver is cranking on THERE. :P I always thought that when someone got THAT anorexic-looking they died. Time to bring out the DVDs...

Arnold is charming, but shallow.
But Hannity - poor Sean is coming off like a star-struck, obseqious lickspittle.

You got that right, I am really disappointed in Hannity. How about the way Arnold put him in his place about the term "liberal". I was waiting for Sean to come back at him and instead he stood there like a doof and apologized.
To: skeeter
He came off as knowing what he was talking about when answering questions, and not shallow at all.

It concerns me that he is planning on shaking down the tribes to the tune of 25%. Local government is currently bearing the brunt of costs of casino impacts. The funds should go to them.

Hannity is being pathetic. Showing he is a phony
more concerned with his ego than with principle.
