It's a TLA.

Thanks, but I don't think that makes someone a "licensed investment banker."
As someone who used to work in that industry, I know that brokers love to pump up their status and call themselves investment bankers -- usually when trying to score some bimbos.

I just noticed that Wesley's been working for Stephens, Inc. since he retired. Ring any bells? same Stephens, banker, recently passed away down in Atlanta?

Probably, can't have the dirty, evil stigma of 'stockbroker'. 'Investment Banker' has become a more popular title even among everyday brokers to try to sound better to the 'rubes'. ;-)

You're wishing. This thing will be very close under any circumstances. Any Democrat will win at least 26 states. The red/blue divide is still very strong.I don't think Dean can carry 26 states and I don't think the rest of those clowns can generate the passion and enthusiasm necessary to carry 26 states if their biggest issues, Iraq and the economy, are trending positively.

Not to mention Rumsfeld! At least he didn't say anything nice of John Ashcroft. That would really rile them up!
Clark is going down in flames...he is an opportunist and an empty suit.

Chris Matthews just ripped Clark on CNBC for sounding like Adm Stockdale. "Who am I?" "Why am I here?"

Chris Matthews just ripped Clark on CNBC for sounding like Adm Stockdale. "Who am I?" "Why am I here?" It didn't take long for the dims to get him his talking points! Last week until now, he was extolling Clarke's virtues.

There is nothing Clark will be able to defend to the Democrat base regarding his support and praise for Reagan. There is no way he can explain his way out of that, unless the Democrats are even dumber than I thought.Never "misunderstimate" the idiocy of liberals. But Wesley's gonna flame out by December. I liked Ross Perot, but this guy reminds me of him. He's thin-skinned, and unlike Ross, Wesley doesn't believe in anything but Wesley. That's a brimming ego with a pretty-boy face. Once the honeymoon is over, he's toast.

Department of Peace ... ahh yes that sounds very promising...It should. In Orwell's 1984, the Ministry of Peace was a ravishing success, considering its purpose. I wonder if he'll establish a Ministry of Love too, where dissidents can be tortured.

When Kerry and Moseley-Braun are the only two who sound serious, and they were, the DNC is in DPSHT.

Chinagate
On June 5, 1995, as one of Huang's CIA briefers came out of Huang's office, there sitting in the reception area was Huang's next appointment: Minister Wang from the Chinese embassy. On other occasions, Huang went to the Chinese embassy or met with Red Chinese officials after briefings. According to Huang's secretary at Commerce, he often left the office with classified files and did not bring all of them back. No accounting has been made of the missing documents.
Where did Huang go with these documents? Most likely, across the street from his Commerce office to the Washington, DC offices of Stephens, Inc., of Little Rock, one of America's largest private investment banks outside of Wall Street. The company's owner, Jackson Stephens, is the major U.S. business associate of the Riadys' Lippo Group, and together with James Riady was co-owner of the scandal-plagued Worthen Bank, Arkansas' largest bank during Clinton's corrupt gubernatorial reign in the "Land of Opportunity" state.
That's where Clark went immediately retiring rom the military.
