Great news on Issa! Heard that he has had it with McC especially since McC lied to him about dropping out of the race. Have you heard anything like that? Issa is steamed --- but, like Simon, Issa will take the high road and attempt to send, yet another *message* to McC that it is time to UNITE behind Arnold.
McC is quickly alienating every elected Republican in CA. A damn pity. It's not too late for McC, yet, but by tomorrow I suspect it will be.

"Very good analogy. I am just disapointed to see this mentality here."
It's a stupid analogy and has no basis in fact. Do you really presume to know freeper's opinions on sports teams, and how many individual Arnold supporters have switched loyalties of sports teams?
I (unlike some others) bear no ill will to McClintock supporters. I just wish I could convince them that a Bustamente government would be ruinous and an Arnold government would be a significant improvement over that and the current government. These are the only outcomes within the realm of possibility. I suppose you'll disagree. Fortunately, most Republicans disagree with you.

I really wish Fox posted transcripts like the dreaded CNN.

Who's positions on the issues do you most closely relate? Arnold's or Tom's?

Bill Simon gets it.Yeh, he got it alright. If he had not listened to these country club republicans & attacked ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION we would not be having this recall. 70% of the people of Calif have NO REPRESENTATION when it comes to this issue & ONLY TM will answer to it.

And I am a Republican, not a Libertarian or independent. But you're not a "team player".

I don't want to boast, but on another thread, a half hour before this item was posted, I commented to a McC supporter:
I have no inside information on this, but I think by the end of next week, Arnold will be endorsed by Ueberoth, Simon, Issa, and other key Republicans who have been sitting on the fence. Scoff if you like, but remember where you heard it first.

This is on Hannity's radio show -- I don't know if he has transcripts or not! Arnold is doing very, very well.
Said he wants to be the Governor of all the people. This is all about leadership -- this state has a vacuum of leadership! We don't have leadership and wants to bring the leadership to Sacramento. I am not afraid of Democrats, I married one. Wants to bring everyone together to work for California!

No question - Schwarzenegger's positions more closely reflect my own, and I prefer his leadership style.

Welcome friend! You are saying what I've been saying for a month. Tom is a good man. We love him. But we need to win this recall election.

Arnold should name McC his Director of Finance. They would make a terrific team.

I am impressed with Arnold even more after his appearance on Hannity.
The reason why Arnold got involved with afterschool programs was because of what he saw around the country in inner city schools. Kids are hanging around, get involved with gangs, drugs, etc. Decided to work on afterschool programs after that. Between 3-6 is the peak period for crime for gangs, etc. Give our children a positive alternative to gangs, provide them afterschool education -- we love you, you can make it -- every child can be a winner.
Let the parents know, if you are a parent you must be there for your children. You must take part in your child's school.
He is great!
