RAPIST SHOWING LEG: An Extension of the clinton Complex-Question Fallacy Scheme
- by Mia T, 9-19-03
The missus clinton-Wesley Clark spectacle, in any permutation or combination, is as much about delusions of grandeur (with sabotage the fallback position) as about anything else. As Susan Estrich pointedly stated yet again last night: "hillary is unelectable."
(requires Flash Player 6, available HERE)
The clinton calculus, that the clintons' utter failure, which unleashed global terror, would be neutralized (or at least mitigated) by any general -- and no less by a general who, himself, exudes critical elements of clinton dysfunction -- is ludicrous on its face and yet another example of that unique brand of clinton rube arrogance rooted in stupidity.
Missus-clinton-flirting-to-run-by-proxy -- the rapist is the one showing leg -- is merely an extension of the original clinton Complex-Question Fallacy Scheme. (With her legs and political skills, the bait and switch is perfectly understandable.)
And the leftist media is falling for it like a homely, desperate old maid.
The clintons are betting that media desperation, coupled with her late entry-- and of course, the old clinton standbys, access journalism and plain intimidation -- will mitigate against any serious vetting of the little missus.
- The clinton Complex-Question Fallacy Scheme notwithstanding, it is axiomatic and confirmed on a daily basis by clinton "infrastructure" strategy alone that hillary ("listening tour" / cozy-clintonoid-interviews-of-the-Colmes-kind) clinton is no better than Howard Dean at withstanding media scrutiny... and is likely significantly worse.
From this it follows that hillary clinton cannot survive the standard, lengthy, probing presidential-campaign process. An end run is her only option.
And contrary to conventional wisdom, time is not on her side. Not only are the clintons in general decline, not only is she vulnerable in '06, but in this post-9/11 world,
as more clinton failures and betrayals are documented, increasingly favorable demographics will prove insufficient to resuscitate disfavored, dysfunctional, dangerous democrat demagogues like the clintons.
Look, therefore, for the clintons to make their move in '04. Susan Estrich, Al From and The Times aren't on the same "Get the clintons off the stage!" page for no reason.

- George Will continues: There is reason to believe that he is a rapist ("You better get some ice on that," Juanita Broaddrick says he told her concerning her bit lip), and that he bombed a country to distract attention from legal difficulties arising from his glandular life, and that. ... Furthermore, the bargain that he and his wife call a marriage refutes the axiom that opposites attract. Rather, she, as much as he, perhaps even more so, incarnates Clintonism

CNN's favorite general, Wesley Clark, has also been heard to opine that our troops are getting bogged down in Iraq. His competence to judge American generals is questionable since his command was limited to working for NATO. We prefer to hear from American generals. Clark's contribution to international relations consisted of mistakenly bombing the Chinese embassy in Belgrade. In his zeal to prevent troop casualties, he ordered pilots to fly at such high altitudes that the pilots complained that they were being forced to incur unnecessary civilian casualties.

hear *Thanx to Cloud William for text and audio
LEHRER: President Bush, your closing statement, sir.
PRESIDENT BUSH: Three weeks from now--two weeks from tomorrow, America goes to the polls and you're going to have to decide who you want to lead this country ...
On foreign affairs, some think it's irrelevant. I believe it's not. We're living in an interconnected world...And if a crisis comes up, ask who has the judgment and the experience and, yes, the character to make the right decision?
And, lastly, the other night on character Governor Clinton said it's not the character of the president but the character of the presidency. I couldn't disagree more. Horace Greeley said the only thing that endures is character. And I think it was Justice Black who talked about great nations, like great men, must keep their word.
And so the question is, who will safeguard this nation, who will safeguard our people and our children? I need your support, I ask for your support. And may God bless the United States of America.
(Applause)

"West Wing" Clark is a bonafided banana cream pie. I predict his handlers will not be able to hide his goofiness for very long. When the media begins to smell red meat, they will be on him like heat on napalm. He has aready been caught in several lies and gafs. Far more serious questions about the man's sanity will be uncovered. I think his balloon will burst rather quickly.

Colin Powell was on Letterman tonight. When Dave asked him what he thought of Clark, he said since Clark served under him , he'd "recuse" himself from commenting. It sounded like, "I don't like him."
