This and the fact that the cervix was not dilated, refutes theories of a coffin birth.

When I first heard of the coffin birth I never once thought it meant being expelled from the cervix. In order for the cervix to dilate a person would have to be alive. My assumption was always that a coffin birth would be through deterioration of the uterus and stomach.

Further up in the article Goldberg said Laci's maternity pants were light blue. I wonder if her sister has confirmed that is what she was wearing the night of Dec 23 when she and Scott came to have Laci's sister cut his hair?

From previous article: Peterson apparently spoke to Frey on the phone only once on Dec. 23, the day his wife vis- ited her doctor.

They don't say if the call originated from Amber's phone or Scott's phone or what time this call was made. If the call originated from Amber's phone, I wonder if they are positive Amber talked with Scott or maybe Laci picked up the phone and then got into a confrontation with Scott.

That's why this report of the Dec. 23rd call jumps out at me..may be used to show that there may have been an altercation if Amber testifies that she did indeed hear a female voice on the other end when she phoned Scott that day. Could fit into a timeline that the Prosecution might lay out. But with the new reports of solicitation, this all may not matter.

I don't believe that the maternity pants could be light blue - that would be impossible. The people who saw her walking her dog said that her pants were black. ;)

There are three sources that it was Amber who called Scott the Dec 23rd.The first is Greta VanSusteren speaking to Howard Breuer.Here is the conversation from the transcript.
Van Susteren: All right. Howard,Dec 23,a phone call from Amber Frey,the girlfriend. Can you tell us the details?
Breuer: Well,we don't know the details of the call. There's speculation that that might have set off a heavy argument between Scott and Laci....
The second source is from Catherine Crier,and it was posted on court TV. A reported call had been placed from Amber the night before Christmas Eve to Laci and Scott's house.
The third source is an article from the CBS affiliate Channel 5. It was posted on their website,the pix page,titled,New Information About scott Peterson's Affair,which goes on to say,"Channel 5 reports that on Dec 23,Frey called the Peterson home and Laci reportly answered the phone".
