The Dateline program was all about the convict who said that Peterson had asked him about getting someone to steal Laci's car for insurance money, and when he got Scott two guys and heard Scott talking about kidnapping Laci he was out of there because he knew Scott meant more than kidnapping and he didn't want to hear any part of it.

There were some points that make you wonder if it did happen that these thugs killed Laci. Even if they did I think Scott could be held on a 1st degree murder charge anyway.

This guys lawyer said whoever leaked this story has given his client a death sentence because he is now known as a snitch in prison and they don't think to highly of snitches

The program was just an interview with the Lawyer for Carrol. Frank Muna I think his name was. They did show a picture of City Lights Strip Club and the Motel where the meeting supposedly took place in Fresno. Then there was a quick blurb from the former Detective that did the LD test. All in all it wasn't earth shattering. Although, Frank Muna AND the Detective did say that Cory Carrol definitely "believes" this is the truth.
